Apart from the great accomplishment of Mourinho in the past years, it is a bad idea in general to use the performance of the first 2 games to infer the performance of the remaining 36 games as this will only give a very inaccurate estimate.

I think it is very difficult to retain the title, especially in the premier league. yeah I remember when Manchester United lost two games at the beginning of the season in 06/07. then they win premier league. let's see whether this will happen with chelsea haha

You are so right. I've just took Chelsea win for 1.646 at Fairlay. Odds look good, Chelsea will surely start to improve, while WBA is far from impressive.

I also think that Man United will easily defeat Newcastle, while good bet could be Norwich vs Stoke at 2.372. Also thinking that Leicester could continue good opening against Tottenham but I've expected higher odds on them.

Lol I hope yes. Sorry for Chelsea fans, but I think its strategy is too defensive when playing against strong team. Seems their strategy wasnt working on the three last matches. Maybe Pedro (if he really go to Stamford Bridge) and some new players in Chelsea could change that.

I think they will drop points against West Brom for the 3rd game of the season and everyone writes them off.

Rumours in the UK media today that Chelsea are set to steal Pedro from Man Utd's grasp. The rumours are Pedro will sign for Chelsea from Barca very soon. Like I said Chelsea will be close to the top of the table at the end of the season.

Man City are probably favourites now but Chelsea won't go away without a fight. I think it's a good idea to back Chelsea to beat WBA this weekend.

Maybe Watford have a slightly bigger chance because Watford could got draw result against Everton, and in otherwise Southampton was beaten by Everton in its home base. Anyway, its a interesting match, which both team have good odds to win (2.6 & 2.58).
