I'm really enjoying the current outcome of how the EPL table looks like. Liverpool and man city fighting for the trophy and Tottenham, Man United, Arsenal and chelsea also battling for the third and fourth positions in order to qualify for the champions league..... But I think Liverpool is gonna win the EPL trophy. Its not gonna be easy for them. I really don't know why though, but every bit of me wants Man City to win the EPL this season, even though I feel extremely sorry Liverpool but I probably just like Guardiola that much! I have a feeling Man City will fail to win either of their next two matches, after 2 consecutive 1 - 0 win

The problem is Liverpool sometimes can't win against middle team, on the other hand Man City always win against middle team even with only 1-0 goal. The momentum is back to Man City now, can they keep winning for the rest of the match.

If you saw the table at 30th December they were 10 points ahead of Manchester City and see what the table looks like now at the top. I would agree with some guys that call Liverpool, "Looserpool" The league is now in favor of Manchester City and I think that due to the quality and the experience that the players have, they are going to win it before we even realize.

It would be interesting to see the EPL institute a salary cap like the NBA does. Would even out the playing field instead of having the same teams finish at the top every year.
Would be a great idea, would stop artifical clubs like Man City dominating. Isn't the Financial Fair-play supposed to deal with this kind of issue ? Just kiddin' ! They side step it with dodgy sponsorship deals. I think Etihad Airways pay them a shit load of money per season to sponsor the stadium. It’s a state owned company so they’re effectively paying themselves to sponsor their own stadium. Football was much better before oil money & states with questionable human rights records started coming into football. Take me back to the 80’s - 90’s. I think it’s why Fergie left, the soul has gone from football. I mean how are PSG even anywhere too, Chelsea & Man City - UGLY.

Now that manchester city has managed to take a number one position, Liverpool are currently under pressure because they have had a difficult match in the past few weeks. Liverpool must try to improve their consistency and not lose any more points. Liverpool's chances in the last 10 matches are very risky. Manchester City's performance at the top will create tremendous concern for supporters of the Reds, this is an opportunity to win the EPL and not have to repeat it again next year.

It is all up to Manchester City now , I think tha also that they have tougher games ahead , right now they remain heavy favourites to win the title. Liverpool had a lot of chances and at one point were almost six point ahead and they could't manage the pressure of the Premier League.
Liverpool's mentality seems to have not returned. With the many opportunities available to stabilize the first position, which is wasted, now they are even in a depressed position. The race for the title will be exciting until the end of the competition and the team that has good mentality will be the winner. Supporting Liverpool is like backing the wrong horse. They don't have the champions mindset, born losers and inconsistent. Am already regretting supporting them for the championship this year.

Sort of agree, every time it comes to the crunch they seem to fall short. They have all the players, the coach but it seems not the mentality & that’s half of what it takes to be a champion.

It is not mandatory for people to support the club only if it is the league winner. You look like someone who supports the only team on top of the table. Your opinion cannot be relevant. I support MU, and for me, it's the worst scenario, Liverpool, to be champion and it's very hard for me to say that is less painful if M.City wins the league. Both teams have a few very difficult games, and everything is open. I think there will be very important next round of the Champions League. MC there has bigger pressure and here is a Liverpool chance.

What was your motivation to support them. Winning a bet or anything? If that is it then this does not call support. There are emotions all over when you go and support something. Culture, interest, surroundings a lot of factors influence to support a team. A true supporter will always back their team no matter if they are doing good or bad.

We call these bandwagon fans here in America. Suddenly no one is a fan of the Cavs anymore after Lebron left. The same thing happened in Miami. Also liverpool fans seem to treat players that underperform very badly. Fernando Torres put in a lot of good years for Liverpool but that fans show little appreciation.

^ Yup but it's tooootally different with football. NBA fans of two opposing teams could sit together while watching a match... Can't do that with football supporters of two opposing clubs. They'd be bashing each other's heads. Lmao.
So I guess NBA 'fans' could get away more in supporting different teams than football supporters.

Pamoldar is right, Man U fans had lots of glory, loads of trophies with Ferguson. They’re not going to just go & support City or LFC now. Picking a football team is like a gf, if you love her you don’t cheat.

Have been chelsea fan for 15 years and I know if Chelsea were there (1st position) at this stage of the season they will win it. It happens so many times and they won it. According to history some number of games won gives a team a higher percentage of wining irrespective of the gap between the 2nd placed. You know If Man. utd was at that position during Sir Alex, they have won the league. Liverpool had done this before and lost to my Chelsea. My opinion is based on statistics, numbers dont lie but Liverpool can make it fail.
What was your motivation to support them. Winning a bet or anything? If that is it then this does not call support.

Am a chelsea fan. I am against the Guardiola dynasty, He said he wanted to build a dynasty like Sir Alex with Man.shitty. This is not the era of old where Alex rode on us

Another huge weekend of PL football. Man City can go 4 points ahead of Liverpool if they beat Watford before Liverpool play Burnley on Sunday. However I expect both totle chasers to win.
Arsenal take on Man U too in a big top 4 decider.

I am sure about both games, M. City and Liverpool going to win. Arsenal vs Man Utd is pretty unpredictable. Both teams have a very hard match behind in Euro cups, maybe Arsenal can have an advantage because they need to consolidate and play seriously. I am not sure how much is Man Utd players on the ground after Paris drama and a big win. I expect a very interesting game Tottenham vs Southampton. Sou. played well against United, they can do a lot of trouble to Spurs.

I think so too, both Man City and Liverpool matches are against a middle team but Watford is not that bad. I guess many goals will be happen on man city match. Arsenal vs Man United, this one is a hard one to predict and man united is on hot mode with Ole.

Manchester City has an easy game today against Watford and can put a lot of pressure for Liverpool if they win today. Liverpool will play under the pressure to win tomorrow and this can impact players both way, positive or negative depending on players mindset.

Even Man City themselves would not consider Watford to be an easy game, Watford won 4 the their 5 matches in the EPL, Man City haven't not invincible as you'd recently, they've won last 3 matches by a lone goal difference.

This one is really tough to predict. Arsenal is great on home pitch but Man UTD is excellent in away games. If both had full teams and I would lean towards Man Utd, but they have many injuries at the moment. Furthermore, it is tough to judge how huge win over PSG impacted them. It could have acted as another form boost but it also probably acted like big emotional drain. Add fatigue to that and Man UTD players could be a little on the slow side tomorrow. I will probably play both to score and over 2.5 on this one. I am expecting the game where dominance will shift between the teams few times during the match.

I am extremely confident Spurs can win today, but how difficult they manage the game will be what is interesting. We have had so many 1-0 wins, including even against very poor competition, so once more the question rests on the shoulders of Harry Kane,,, the more he can score, the better our chances. We had a very poor strong of games so I hope we put a strong 3 goal win today.
There should be no surprises today, Newcastle will be another tough game but I think they can take another 3 points.
