Liverpool vs Man. City (Final Capital One Cup)

Liverpool played very well, but luck sided with Man. City. penalties make its own drama in a football match

I'm really sad Liverpool can't win pinalty vs Manchester City. When Liverpool make a goal i thought Liverpool will win this match. I'm sad because Klopp can't win their 1st throphy.

I also feel sad with this result. when I want to see Klopp in his first season to get the title.
well I hope that next season Klopp can bring Liverpool into the Premier league champions. with a note to buy some good players to meet next season.

Do you mean they need to play 12? That might give them a chance of getting into the top 4! 9 points back at this stage, it is all over for them really.
I think next season could be much better for them though. Klopp is a very good manager, he will get them fighting fit for next season, and bring in some good players in the summer.

I expect they will be a tough proposition next season, I would say probably top4.

The Capital One Cup was the easiest trophy that Liverpool can get its hands on. After the demoralizing penalty defeat, it will be difficult for Liverpool players to boost their morale. The 4th place is almost gone for Liverpool when the competition is fierce for the Champions League spot.

You should consider that it is gone for them as manchester united is still aiming for the 4th spot. They need a miracle if they wish to be in the champions league next season as it is not possible anymore. Jurgen klopp needs to start over at the new season and consider this season as done, everything he will do is not necessary anymore

arsenal is always consistent every year. at the beginning of the season they played pretty well and lead standings up to half of the season, but the approaching end of the season, arsenal always decreases. The last 10 years has always been so and when the finish arsenal is always in a position between 3 and 4 lol. let's see if this will happen again

Yeah we all have known here that Arsenal's target in every season is getting the 4th position I dont have any idea about that team, Wenger has skillful players in each positions, even Cech as the goalkeeper (there were many news said that the main problem why Arsenal couldnt win the league is the goalkeeper).

manchester united have some young footbal player where he have potential to get next star like memphis depay, m. rashford.

The problem with so many youngster is that there will bot be enough spot for all of them to play on the main squad. There are 3 strikers currently martial, rooney, james wilson and now we have rashford. It will be hard for the coach to choose which to use however it is more likely that rashford will not have his spot when martial recover

Rooney is done this time, he has a bad injury and probably will move in the summer.  Hes now 30 years old and hes basically a fat short guy with no speed anymore but still has amazing skills.  Its not enough though.

His leadership is still needed on the field. He is a great player and could always play as a midfielder instead of strikers, he is a great all rounder player that could play in many position and besides that his form has been getting better and better, its too bad for him to get an injury when he is finally picking up his form back.

But look at gerrard in midfield when his legs went it didnt work.  If you remember the decline is quick.  Gerrard had one of his best seasons ever when liverpool nearly won the league and then the next season he was gone.  Rooney in midfield for a team like man united is no good.

But this season seems a little different,  team that topped the standings are usually at the bottom position in the last season such as Leicester and tottenham I never imagined that these two teams compete in the EPL How do you think ? that might happen ? Haven't posted here for a few days, I stayed in London for the weekend & went to Wembley for the Capital One Cup Final. I'm still upset at the loss but we (Liverpool) have to regroup & go again. I'm back home safe & life goes on

Lots of fixtures Tuesday & Wednesday so I'll be gambling to try & win money to cheer myself up.

There are still alot of match to be played and they could always end up as the second instead as long as tottenham slipped down. Manchester city on the other hand is being unlucky by getting the 4th rank at the moment and they have been losing alot in the premier league because of their schedule

Yes your bets have a good chance to win but the odds is low. For everton match i think it's an easy match for Everton and Leicester ML seems good though.

My prediction top 4 will be like this :
1. Leicester
2. Manchester City
3. Arsenal
4. Tottenham

Well arsenal at 3rd place again , everyone in this world would agree and expect leicester city to win BPL trophy , so do I.

11 matches ahead and leicester are not into champions nor european league. I can totally tell that they are on the advantages because of this while the other team are tight on the schedule and probably be wasting alot of stamina in this, leicester has no other top tier match except for the premier league

Klopp's probably not the time to lift his first trophy, but there is still hope for Klopp lift his first trophy in the Europa League

but look this way, they need to face Man Utd, Everton & Chelsea at the end of season (hope I am correct), and now it is only 2 points ahead Tottenham, but the goal difference of Tottenham is much better than Leicester...

the only concern for Tottenham is they still hv Europa League to play with, but we must see the new team to win Premier League this season
