Watford could not have influenced the Aston Villa win, but they really should not have allowed City to score as they liked. Now they have put themselves into a position where they need to win against Arsenal away, hoping that Aston Villa does not win at West Ham who managed to avoid relegation.
Before their game yesterday I thought that a draw at Arsenal might be enough for Watford even if Villa wins, now I really don't believe it will. Watford has 1 and a half leg in the Championship and nobody to blame but themselves.

Arsenal's defeat is proof that they no longer focus on EPL... Arsenal seem to be more focused on the FA Cup although the final match against Chelsea will start in one more week. MU vs West ham = MU my choice & Liverpool vs Chelsea = Liverpool my choice.

Great day in English Premier League today with two matches. Manchester Utd vs West Ham Odds for home win are ridiculously lowand I am not ready to bet anything on ManUtd. They lost previous match with Chelsea in FA cup and now they play with team that fights to survive in EPL. West Ham also lost only one from previous five matches, and looking at H2H they often give great performance against red devils.
My Bets here: West Ham +2 AH West Ham +2.25 AH
Liverpool vs Chelsea Home team have no real motives here, as they are EPL champions, and Chelsea is in great form now and fighting for Champions League. I can't predict final outcome but I expect to see goals in this match.

I think Watford did influence the Villa win. Watford played earlier, and if they had kept the score close then Villa would have had less hope. That 4-0 now means Villa have a superior goal difference. Bear in mind also that Villa have superior total goals scored, which takes effect if points and goal difference are equal... which all means that whatever happens in the final round of matches, Watford need to match the Villa result AND increase the relative goal difference by +2 to finish above them. If Villa win by 1 goal, Watford need to win by 3. If Villa lose by 1 goal or even 2 goals, then Watford need at least a draw. I can't believe Watford sacked their manager when they did. That seems a really poor decision, and has given Villa a lifeline when it had seemed they were all but definitely relegated.

I bet on two home team wins today. Liverpool have not won the last two Premiership games. It is known that they secured the championship a long time ago, but I believe that the team from coach Klopp will take the prestigious match against Chelsea very seriously. Chelsea are still fighting to play in the Champions League next season, so motivation will certainly be there. A possible loss of points by Chelsea will certainly be used by Manchester United, which play today at home against West Ham.

It was a weird situation for Liverpool. Most teams went into lockdown knowing that they still had something to fight for when the season resumed, be it a relegation battle or a European place. For Liverpool probably a lot of the pressure was off, they only needed a couple of wins from the remaining fixtures to be mathematically certain of winning the league. It does make you wonder if they suffered a bit from lack of motivation during lockdown, which might go some way to explaining why their post-lockdown results are worse than pre-lockdown. Or it could just be that the break meant they lost that winning momentum they had. Either way, they don't look quite the same proposition now. Normally you would expect them to beat Chelsea. At the moment though, I don't know. It might not be enough to simply be motivated for this match, they could well have lost fitness and sharpness due to a lack of motivation during the months of lockdown.

Arsenal is currently placed at 10th position. It's clear that they won't be getting relegated or quality for either champions league or Europa league. That's the reason why I'm not surprised by their lost against Aston Villa yesterday. Winning the FA cup is now on top of their priority list. Not winning the FA cup would mean no qualifications and no trophy for the 2019/2020 season. They lost previous match with Chelsea in FA cup and now they play with team that fights to survive in EPL. West Ham also lost only one from previous five matches, and looking at H2H they often give great performance against red devils.
The game against west ham is another opportunity for Man United to confirm their spot for champions league. After their disappointing performance against Chelsea last week, they'll be looking. To get back to winning ways. Don't forget West ham beat Man United during the first half of the season. This could be Man United's payback.

Yup, I can agree with that. Maybe I worded it a bit unclear but what I meant to say practically comes down to what you wrote. Watford is expected to lose against City, but allowing them 10 shots on target is something that you cannot do when fighting for survival. Every goal was important for them and yet they played as if they did not care at all. Their crucial games were Southampton and West Ham and they lost both of them while playing terrible.

You guys should not be surprised if Chelsea pull up a surprise win against Liverpool today. Liverpool have nothing to fight for, they have won the league and the goal to reach 100 points has been defeated.
Chelsea on the other hand need to secure a victory so as to keep the faith on champions league more alive or perhaps they might settle for a draw, a loss for Chelsea cause them a huge blow in qualifying for champions league

Liverpool have no pressure in this match but the prestige that makes them embarrassed to lose to Chelsea, while Chelsea currently still struggling to get points so as not to be left behind by Manchester United who are very confident 70% will win against Westham, so Chelsea will try as much as possible so that this match wins at least in a draw, that might be enough for Chelsea but this match will be so interesting that I know. Klopp, even though he has become an EPL champion, in every game he will not waste it, maybe this match will attack each other more.

Or he is trying to rotate the team, something he prolly learnt from pep when he was assistant at CIty, but Arteta should know the difference in the two teams, city can rotate players and still replace them with even better ones, but Arsenal cannot for now, imo, he should always start his strongest players until they can substantially increase the depth of team, or could he already have one eye on the fa cup final on the 1st of August? That being said, it would be interesting to see Arteta's lineup on the last matchday of the epl against Watford with Chelsea i think coming six days later in the fa cup final, Watford will be hoping for a weaker team to have any hopes of avoiding relegation. Sounds reasonable. But not sure why Arteta doesnt give Ozil chance yet. I think he is not injured right? Definitely Saka would have been a better option upfront, Arteta was just too over confidence, he used the match as an experimental game amongst his players in my opinion, was surprised seeing Soares in starting lineup, he removed Luiz too early for Pepe, instead of Nketiah for Pepe and Lacazette move to his natural position, lots of silly errors from him
That caught my attention too. Luiz played very well in the last two games, even last night he did a good job. He was replaced too early indeed.

because they have to play Leicester, and their main challenge is not to lose that one, so West ham could bring them a possibility that draw with Leicester is enough, but win those not make them secure in case they lose in the last round
nevertheless, think that MUFC will win today, and Liverpool as well, it is their last match this season, when they become champions, on Anfield, and they will try their best to win it
That is correct. But Manchester united will win? That one is incorrect a nightmare for united to conceded first. Fun fact about Manchester United match : -snip-
Another fun fact is that this is the second chance for Man United to jump from the 5th rank to the 3rd by winning today, at least temporarily until Chelsea face Liverpool. Now the first chance was blatantly missed by the devils, so it is now the time to correct that mistake. I think ManU will win with +2 goals difference. For Liverpool and Chelsea, I will just pass. No clue, both teams can score, it is like 34% draw, 33% Liverpool, 33% Chelsea! Again ... Typical Manchester united fans 😁 no offense man. It's 0-1 down now. Time to bet on Manchester united to make a comeback? It must be delicious high odds there.

Bad news Manchester United down by 1 goal look like they don't want to go in Champions League and trying their best to staying in Europa League. @LFC_Bitcoin and @BitcoinGirl.Club both are Liverpool hottest fans hopefully they will enjoy this https://twitter.com/footballtips/status/1285944666442137607?s=20

Half-time now in United vs West Ham fixture and West ham are leading after running lucky with the penalty. Couldn't call it a Pogba mistake as it was really a fast strike from Rice. United are keeping the possession and are so far leading the attacks decently. I am rooting for them to score in the second half and win the game. I also just need a United goal to win my multibet with around 5x . Time to put another multi into action with United win and BTTS in Liverpool vs Chelsea.

If West Ham, a team who was close to relegation, was able to get a draw today, imagine what a Leicester hungry for a win would do to Man Utd next weekend. The Foxes will come out gunz blazing, hopefully United will show up in top form for the most important game of the season I've got a single bet for Liverpool - Chelsea, O2.5 goals, gonna be one hell of game! if i'm not mistaken, a win for Chelsea tonight means Champions League for them next season, correct?

Manchester United never stops being Manchester United they have been marked to be. I won't be much surprised if they are defeated by Leicester City on the 26th. I was a bit disappointed in Ole's selection tonight.

yeah, once upon a time, there was sir Alex, and Manchester played all matches to win, tonight they played not to lose, so they could end up in CL even in case of draw with Leicester, it is a shame for glory past, but good for next season, if they stay on fourth place

A weaker West Ham battling for a spot in relegation and staying in the EPL couldn't be defeated. A Leicester team who is hungry for the same spot with Manchester United wouldn't be taking it likely with them. It would be looking like the old "Red Derby". It'd be an interesting match to watch, I'm eagerly anticipating for it.

The Foxes will come out gunz blazing, hopefully United will show up in top form for the most important game of the season It was a sad performance from Manchester United and that handball from Pogba was really unnecessary. I mean which football player would have block a ball straight to their face with their hands? It is part of the risk to get kicked in the face with a ball and Pogba just simply block it with his hand, Dang. If it wasnt for the foul, the score would be 1-0 and Manchester United will secure that crucial 3 points Manchester United will need to either win the last game or force the game to draw. I've got a single bet for Liverpool - Chelsea, O2.5 goals, gonna be one hell of game! if i'm not mistaken, a win for Chelsea tonight means Champions League for them next season, correct?
Yes, if they win against Liverpool then their slot for the champions league will be confirmed Edit : It was Pogba it seems not Fosu , sorry for the mistake

Crazy situation in the fight for the 2nd spot in Championhsip that leads directly into Premier league, none of the three teams that actually have to win are doing so great at the moment: WBA vs QPR 2-2 Brentford vs Barnsley 0-1 Wigan vs Fulham 1-1
If it stays like this, WBA gets the 2nd spot and direct promotion. Fulham needs both WBA and Brentford to loose in order to reach 2nd spot, while Brentford has to win and then wait for WBA to draw or loose.
