Did you see the 1st Fulham goal? I really can't explain what was in the head of Brentford's goalkeeper. The way he jumped after the goal was even more funny. I really feel for the guy, he won't be able to sleep for a year probably. A horrible blunder, this stuff is career-wrecking.
It was an even game, Fulham just caught a lucky break at the end.
I didn't even know what had happened at first. Looked like it had gone wide and the keeper did one of those precautionary I had it covered anyway lads half-assed dives, then I saw the Fulham players celebrating and the replay and was like woah. But yeah, it was the keepers fault. When you do shit like this you're just asking for players to try catch you off guard. It's the same thing when keepers come off their line or out of their box because there's nothing going on, then a quick counter-attack from the other team leaves them open and vulnerable and they get lobbed. Saw it a couple of times last season. The play-off final game was pretty boring up until that goal. Don't really care who goes up or not but Brentford are a pretty small team really so it would have been nice to see them in the PL I guess. I think they would have struggled massively though and would have been one of those teams that goes straight back down.

I think he was caught off guard & out of position, he didn’t even know where he was or where the goal was. Great thinking by the left back but the GK wants shooting for effectively costing his team a place in the PL. Very expensive mistake and I'm not sure if he will ever recover. I feel sorry because of them. Brentford was so close and now have to wait one more year for new chance.

I think they are changing it a bit too much and too often recently. My opinion is that 3 subs are the soft spot, 5 from both sides will just unnecessarily drag out the games. I'd support a rule where you can have 12 substitute players on the bench but 5 of them have to be under 21 years of age. 5 substitutes per game but 2 of them have to be from the u-21 category. That would give more playtime to youngsters and would be beneficial to clubs in general. 5 substitutes rule just gives more power to rich clubs again - not something I like to see.

I do not agree with the 5 substitutions. It delays matches a lot and it drops the pace significantly. It will be a new strategical move from the managers in order to drop the pace of a game and spend additional times.

Yea this is not good decsion by FA this is going to give some good benefit to big clubs and drop the pace as well 3 was doing very good for very long time but just because of this Covid19 now they are changing all momentum of this game which is going to kill beauti of soccer.

Congratulations to Leeds, WBA and Fulham, they will play in the English Primer League season 2020/21, the history of three clubs have all played in the English Primer League even though it was then. Look at Leeds last at EPL in 2003/04, WBA in 2017/18 and Fulham in 2018/19. And then they have experienced coaches except Fulham, Marcelo Bielsa at Leeds, Bilic at WBA, and Scott Parker at Fulham. Bielsa and Bilic have experience and trophies while Scott Parker does not have, his achievements brought the promotion of Fulham to the EPL. Looking at the opportunities of the three team promotion in the season 2020/21 in the English Primer League, can they survive or just through?

The '5 substitutes per game' proposition was rejected by Premier league clubs yesterday. https://www.independent.co.uk/sport/football/premier-league/five-substitutions-rule-clubs-vote-a9657336.html“Clubs also agreed to revert back to using up to three substitute players per match, with a maximum of seven substitutes on the bench.”
11 teams voted against, stating it would be an advantage for Top 6 clubs. I agree with the decision and am happy to see the old substitute rule return.

I think based on the list we see here it would be a mistake to give this title to anyone else rather than Marcus Rashford. He has shown great performance during this season and more precisely during the second half of the season. He was a great player since he was 19 so it is only natural to get better with experience and he just proved it this year.

You are quick becaue I was also going to post about Marcus Rashford he is really one of most improved player recently and done very good job in second half of Premier League in near future we can expect some more good from him as he is doing good job for his club hope he is going to be in to ranked players list.

You're kidding, right? Without any bias, it just has to be Trent Alexander-Arnold. He scored some amazing goals, had over 10 assists from the full-back position and was a constant starter in a record-breaking champions team.
I was against the POTS reward for Henderson because I think De Bruyne was a class of his own this season and so was Alexander-Arnold for young player of the year award.
Rashford was decent, but my opinion is that it's not even close.

yeah, but there has to be a bias, and since you are a LFC fan, it is kind a obvious that you pick a LFC player, and that is ok i am not a fan of MUFC, but think that Rashford had a good season, within a club that was not finished as good as it should be, and that is the only thing for him that is challenging his position on this list but, you should not expect from U23 player to bring titles, he will do it in the future

Agree with @cryptofrka here. That guy is playing great football. He has improved a lot and is doing some crazy amount of assists and key passes which have played a crucial part in most of Liverpool goals this season.
It has to be Trent Alexander-Arnold IMO.

Nope, I really would not. Mane had a great season, he was my LFC player of the year by far, and I'd give the reward to de Bruyne. We have our nominees btw, they are Mane, De Bruyne, Henderson, Pope, Vardy, Ings and Alexander-Arnold. So, if Alexander-Arnold is in contention for the player of the season irrelevant of his age, then he has to claim the Young player of the season if you ask me. He was exceptional this season. I'd put them in this order: De Bruyne, Mane, Ings, Henderson, Pope, Vardy, Alexander-Arnold. We also have nominees for the managers, it's between Klopp, Rodgers, Lampard and Wilder. For me it's Klopp, Wilder, Rodgers and Lampard as last - he'd be in front of Rodgers if they won the cup.

Trent AA has become European, World & English League Champion in the last year breaking assist records for a fullback. Rashford has, well, done nothing. It’s no competition who wins the YPOTY.

Here are the individual player rankings from SofaScore Debruyne has been consistently the top Looks like Willian carried Chelsea See the 2 clear leaders (looks like Liverpool were actually lucky to win) Maybe we could have our own version of the superbowl. The 4 top players from the 2 best teams draft in players from all the other clubs for a big final?

Jesus christ Marcus Rashford is still 22 years old!!!! I can't believe dude is still that young! I was fully expecting him to be over 27 years old by this point, god knows he has been playing so well for so many years that I was expecting him to be older. Manchester United has suuuuch a huge potential, I mean we are talking about such a huge potential that they are still young and yet they finished with third position already, and this is with best player being 22-23 years old.
I wonder what they will be like in 2-3 seasons, we are talking about Rashford becoming like 25-26 years old, and he is basically working as well as possible on himself as well so he will definitely peak in talent as well. I hope that eventually united goes back to their old roots and become a great team, past few years since SAF retired has been horrible.
