I'm interested in having some custom physical coins created.  Does anyone have any experiences they can share having custom coins created?  Suggestions on suppliers are also appreciated!

Thank you in advance.

Hey, so Elianite might know. He's been writing a book on all the physical crypto coins in existence. I'd bet money he has information on who these people use to mint there coins. (Here's a link to his thread for the book: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1022071.0)

Do you have a design yet? A lot of the coins look very similar and almost all have a striking resemblance to the original: Casascius. I think it would be cool if a completely different design was created, perhaps drawing on some of the unique features of older fiat coins (e.g., one with a hole in the middle, etc.).

Good luck to you, I look forward to seeing your coin once it is complete!

Yeah, you should read bigtimespaghetti's book.
I bought it and read it, it is very relevant for OP.

Suppliers will depend on the type of material you want to use.  Whatever you decide to do make sure you spend a lot of time researching every aspect of custom coin making....as the saying goes "you only get one chance to make a first impression".  Good luck.
