I'm currently using 6 VisionTek 7970s (3 per rig) and I have them setup with Windows 7 x64, CCC 12.9 beta and I monitor them using VNC. My settings for CGMINER 2.7.4 are as follows:
E:1125 M: 975 V: 1.170 (stock) P: 20 F: 55-60% (3000RPMs) Temp: 66-70C
Average M/Hash: 649.7
My question is: I want to maximize profit, therefore I'm trying to undervolt the cards and keep the fans running at the lowest speeds. I can lower the fan speeds as my machines are located outside and it's getting cold here so that works wonders, however, I ran into a few issues trying to undervolt the cards. Has anyone experience issues with this particular cards? I cannot lower the memory frequency to less than 150Mhz differene between the Engine and the Memory (therefore the "975") I cannot undervolt the cards AT ALL (tried from CGMINER and I tried using MSI's AB as well. AB allows me to undervolt them, but GPU-Z shows the stock voltage still. Any suggestions? I'm happy with 650Mhash, however, if I can undervolt and save as much energy as possible that'd be great, and I know some people achieved 700M/Hash with these cards, so.. I'm looking for comments from those people!
