hi,

i am going to italy the next time for holiday and i would like to grab the chance to get an offshore bank account there.
i know there are a lot of prepaid debit cards with own Iban account in italy.

is there one that can be bought without the need of showing an ID? Should be able to withdrawl at ATM inside the EU and receive sepa from any account.

other  cards possible for non-italian costumers with ID needet?
Please help.

Here you have to show your ID and sign for everything.

I don't know where you have read that Italy is good for these things, a wrong place for sure.

I second it would be a very bad idea... I'm not even sure you are allowed to open an account in Italy if you're not resident here.

Try with the IOR, the vatican bank. (this is half way between a joke and a serious answer)

But if you don't know anyone there it could pretty difficult.

http://www.enistation.com/registrazione/lite

There is mobile phone number, and in Italy they are with fiscal code and ID verification.

But in Poland exist "reloadable gift credit card of 1 year durability" they call it "karta podarunkova".

just read the HUNDRETS of posts on btc forums of PL cards blocked without a reason and never get unblocked again.
you will find a lot of proofs, just look for BZWBK and mBank card reviews Smiley.

But they knew the cards were used for btc trades from the beginning. But suddenly this was a "problem".
They also didnt unblock or withdrawl the balance after all docs were provided they asked for. For me thats clearly scam!

Exactly what happened to me with an old Bitcurex Card, issued by BZWBK. The card was sold by a Polish exchange, namely Bitcurex, which signed an agreement with the bank, so they were 100% aware that card would be used in connection with bitcoin trading. One year later the bank bastards changed their policy as well as the card's TOS, and they applied it even to cards that had already been issued! Then my card got blocked and I could get my balance back only thanks to Bitcurex' guys, who went to a bank's branch in Poland and demanded full buyout.

Sure, suppose you have some 100€ left on a blocked card, you would give your lawyer twice your balance just to file a lawsuit Roll Eyes

The seller must help, not only lawyer, and if there are a number with the same problem, it can help some #consumer #assotiation.
