Ok, Signature Campaigners, this one is for you - how much is the fact that you can get paid in bitcoin for posting on this forum the biggest factor that keeps you involved in bitcoin?

"Free" money, right? (almost...we do give up our time.) I can earn some bitcoin without having to risk my own money, right? What have I got to lose?

How many of you have thought these sentiments and can honestly admit that if this opportunity for earning didn't exist you would not care about bitcoin?

Remember, the poll is anonymous...

well even if there is no signature campaign i still care about bitcoin, there are other ways or opportunities to earn bitcoins here aside from the signature campaign.

Yes, I'd still care. I would probably have spent less time on the forum though in pursuit of other avenues of Bitcoin community and information, if that's what you want to hear. What I make off sig campaigns is less important to me now as I have a job now (not the case a while ago), so I post less now but I still continue to read the forums everyday.

signature has more to do with getting involved in this forum and not in bitcoin, in fact i'm not dumping almost anything(emergencies only) until i can use my coins directly

i admit that i would post much less without the signature, but after all i'm promoting a site, so it's normal to post more with a signature

all i care for now, is having more bitcoin which i not see as having more fiat

There are many other ways to make Bitcoin without a signature campaign. It's acctually hard work to post constructively and creatively, because you have to read through tons of previous posts and threads and

you have to research the subject on other sites... watch hours of video's and listen to Podcasts, before you post something. The signature campaign provides a income to many people or pay for the things people

cannot afford with their normal salary. It also provides tons of content for the forum, and a wide spectrum of views and opinions for the Bitcoin community.

I think some of the success of Bitcoin is directly linked to the success of these signature campaigns... How many startup businesses has grown from the targeted exposure they have received from this forum?

There are many people who campaign against signature campaigns, but I feel it's a big contributor to the success of both Bitcoin and this forum.  Grin

The bitcoin(s) I've received in signature campaigns are minimal compared to what I've bought myself so I'd absolutely care about bitcoin if signature campaigns were stopped. I check the price multiple times a day, I've educated myself on security to ensure my bitcoins are secure in offline cold storage. I actually enjoy being in a signature campaign, it's quite fun, gives me something to do when I'm bored. Sure I'd post less if I wasn't in a signature campaign but that's natural I guess.

this is just a matter, not affecting us to use bitcoin.
unless they are cheating of sign campaign, otherwise it is no use.
if you did not get paid of your sign campaign, and you qualified all of the rules, there would be no reason not to pay to what you just did.

out of ability to use the signature, i want a new ban strike policy that will fade the strike after 90~120 days of the ban and not to be traced back, like google | email me for anything urgent, message will possibly not be instantly responded
i am not really active for some reason

This is definitely a unusual poll and is in the wrong section. I guess that a lot of people are posting just for the money.
I was posting here months before I joined my first campaign. A month or two after joining I had invested in a mining operation that turned out great (3 months before the spike). I would say that the signature campaigns did nothing other than increase my contributions towards other members and the forum itself.

My involvement with Bitcoin has no correlation with the campaign(s).

This. I see it more as a slight minimal bonus for doing what I was doing before. Reading up and posting some comments around the board. Why not get paid for it?

Compared to my other sources of bitcoin income, this is minimal.

I cared well before the sig campaigns arrived, I'll care after they're gone.
I've also lost more btc than i care to mention
so every little bit helps

besides, thanks to increasingly demanding posting requirements

I'm a Legendary!

people won't believe us that we are legit, and people created campaign, but monopolising the others.
my signature is for others because i understand people could not promote his stuff easily by himself, rather than joining a sign campaign.

Yes, and even if signature campaigns doesn't pay us then it doesn't mean that its an end of earning bitcoins or it is the only way to earn bitcoins, so if it doesn't pay, I would still care about bitcoins, as I would go for some alternative ways of earning bitcoins, Say trading or mining and I would keep on earning bitcoins as there are many benefits attached with bitcoins.

I get paid such a small amount for posting at a fixed rate it is almost like I'm posting for free anyway. 0.035 a week is not life changing and if I never had the sig on I would still post the same the extra btc is just a bonus.

Pretty much most of ^this^. Bitcoin isn't really first and foremost about the money for me, it's the whole concept of it and its reasoning for creation/existence that interests me, and the fact it draws attention to the broken financial system like nothing except a crash does/has. I see it as a tool for ones freedom and sovereignty.

I see it as one of the most important inventions - at least in this century - and comparably in history too. Note I say 'one', not 'the', because no one can deny 'the wheel' or anesthetic.

A sig campaign is just a nice addition for posting what I would already post anyway. I think it also depends on how you take the minimum or maximum  required/allowed posts though too. Either way, it might lead to many posts or too little. The one I'm with seems about right for my usual amounts of posts when I'm a member of a forum.

And besides... it'll pay for the Trezor I've already bought... which of course, has now gone down in price to $99. If only I'd waited a week or so Angry

I started with bitcoin way before sig ad. So, honestly, I don't care.
I have it down there, and I don't even look at it anymore.

Yes, it's a nice way to have some decimals. IT's working ok and I'm pretty fine with it.

But I know there are a lot of people in here that think that this is the forum's cancer.

Advertising is all around us and at least on the internet it can be blocked: even on this forum.

This is to say that for the moment I'll keep it.

It's too late for me doc
I have become addicted to Bitcoin in a way that's incurable the concept and the money are far to attractive a proposition to go cold turkey on.
Money will be made just by being informed when something comes out
