Well, that was interesting! While I was in front of the house on the sidewalk smokin' a cigarette, a city cop stopped and asked me what I was doin'. I wanted so badly to reply with "Am I being detained?" or "Am I free to go?" but felt it prudent to simply state the truth that I was looking for meteors since I didn't have a camera running and he had a gun. Then, he asked to see some ID. I replied that it's in the house and I'll go get it, whereupon he stopped me and said that we'll just asked the homeowner if I live there. Luckily, it dawned on me that I recognized him as being present when the county deputy served me them restraining orders stemming from Josh Zerlan's lies to a Judge in Kansas. After I reminded him of that fact, he replied with, "I remember you. You're that Bitcoin dude that rapes goats." I told him close enough and asked if I was now free to go. He let me go, but I'm pretty sure it was because he got a call to get to the other side of town due to some dude in a dress possessing an expired tube of toothpaste.
