I have absolutly no idea about all three, but I think that's the most exciting thing about bitcoin. It could be worth hundreds, thousands or even zero by 2020. I'm sure it'll be a wild ride of ups and downs for the foreseable future that's for sure.

BTC price :

2011 = 1 USD
2012 = 10 USD
2013 = 100 USD
2014 = 200 USD
2015 = 300 USD

do the maths ...

Wallets ?

oh right and where is the 1200 peak? you should take into account insubstantial rises, it's possible that we may be only at 1k by 2020 but with an insubstantial rise that can reach 10k, like it was with the 1200 peak

90--->1200--->250, so something like x10 first, which become x5 after can happen again

Its not irrelevant if till 2020 will be 100millions wallets. I think its a huge positive feedback for bitcoin.

exactly!
I don't like these threads anymore they are a bit pointless.

I don't care for the price in 2020. I care for what it is NOW. I care for what I can do with it NOW.

I don't even know if I'll be here in 2020  Grin

I think it'll be around $100-$500

Why?

Lot of banks are getting in blockchain right now so it could be possible that those consumers will prefer using their bank altcoins instead of Bitcoin but who knows..it's a long time and it could hit $5000

I guess it will shoot up to 1000 USD level by 2020
Everyone will be so happy if ever that happen
I hope economy is not bad at that time because whats the use of 1000 USD = 1BTC if prices of all commodities are also increased

Yeah, and apart from that you don't know the price of any currency by 2020.
Who knows, maybe Bitcoin will replace fiat or Bitcoin might die.
Then again, most people expect the dollar to die first.

That being said, how can you put a price on Bitcoin if you don't know how to price it?

Ha! I've just voted "1" for the same reason. Pretty much a certainty that 1 BTC will be worth 1 BTC in 2020, whatever happens.

I think in 2020 the price of Bitcoin will be around 400-600 $.That peak price was because of tight control over the supply and now as more and more people are adopting using it its price are not increasing constantly but increasing it use instead.

It can be pretty much everywhere, it can be at the top as the absolute winner but also there are small chances that Bitcoin won't take off. Prediction is impossible since nobody really knows nothing so all the bunch of answers her will be that we will be at the moon, while really nobody knows!

So as a real bitcointalk optimist, I will say that I expect Bitcoin's price will be around $5,000 in 2020. Smiley

as far as the price goes, i think lots of people have to lower their expectations. my guess for the price in 2020 will be around $1500 per coin, which sounds quite reasonable.

i guess it would be at least 2000 per coin.
simply, because the bitcoin demand increased.
let's see if the bitcoin demand increased a lot.

out of ability to use the signature, i want a new ban strike policy that will fade the strike after 90~120 days of the ban and not to be traced back, like google | email me for anything urgent, message will possibly not be instantly responded
i am not really active for some reason
