I've been running my Antminer S5 on the network for a bit more than a solid week now and the pool I use (eligius) is reporting that my Hashrate has dropped quite a percentage over the last two days. Here is a picture of the Hashrate Graph. http://i1181.photobucket.com/albums/x436/lordJeyl/hashrate%20drop_zpsx2voe8nb.pngSo far I have not found any way of bring it back up. Is this a hard ware issue, pool issue or something else entirely? Things I have done: - Reset the Antminer
- Shutdown the Antminer for a few hours than power it back on
- Reduce the frequency rate by about 100 (350M Default to 250M) than back again.

There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, which will follow the rules of the network no matter what miners do. Even if every miner decided to create 1000 bitcoins per block, full nodes would stick to the rules and reject those blocks.

When you restarted did it hash at the lower rate or not at all?
If at about half speed then one of the hashing boards may have gone down? Check and see if the little Red LED near the top of each board comes on when it starts hashing?

Is this the red light you're referring to? http://i1181.photobucket.com/albums/x436/lordJeyl/redlight_zpsz1vmh3gv.jpg

The light I was referring to is on the top of the hash boards next to one of the power connectors. However the question was only really relevant if you were hashing at about half speed to identify if one board had gone down. As you are not hashing at all then it might be a problem with the controller. Getting beyong my knowledge, let's see what others suggest?

What PSU are you using with it? I could not tell with it on side of picture.
When it drops in hashate is just one blade hashing? If this happens normally it's around 1/2 speed. Can you tell if 2 blades or 1 blade are hashing?

Yes that is the light that he is referring to. And it is not a good thing to have. Here is official reference to fixing hashing board problems: https://bitmain.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/204875015-How-to-diagnose-S5-hashing-PCB

the corsair is not good enough to run 24/7/365 so after 20 days or so it simply slipped a bit try this set freq to 275 see if you run at 840gh to 900gh if you do you have 2 choices run at freq 275 hash 840gh to 907.5 gh or get a better psu. http://www.gigampz.com/store/p21/Gigampz_80Plus_Platinum_Efficiency%2C_1200_Watt_Kit.htmlthis will run your s-5 with overhead to over clock you did a test at freq 250 but most likely did not do it for 1 day to see results 250 x 3 = 825 275 x 3 = 907.5 300 x 3.3 = 990 350 x 3.3 = 1155 above are rough hash for freq

I have had a similar problem. The problem was not due to PSU.
When a miner loses internet connection, the fan does not work.Although not hashing the board is active and reaches high temperatures and you give hazard to your board(s).
I recommend you to unplug the jacks of red beeping board.Check if your other board is hashing alone.
If yes, change the cables.Check if the problem is reasoned by cables or broken hash board.
If the problem is due to broken hash board, I recommend you to control the pastes of your boards.
The problem with my boards was due to lack of coolant paste. When the miners lost internet connection the boards were broken. This was my problem, I hope it helps.

The problem with my boards was due to lack of coolant paste. When the miners lost internet connection the boards were broken. This was my problem, I hope it helps. I just re-pasted everything with thermal paste and we're still getting a red light. So I guess my next course of action is to... send it in for repair? Grr. this has officially gone into hardware territory.

You are out of 90 day warranty.I do not think they will make a replacement or repairment for free.Although they are helpful and gentle, you will have to pay about 110 USD per board plus shipping.
