Keyscramblers does not protect against keylogging hardware so its not an option if people have access to your computer. Majority of the virus does not get detected and most antivirus would be useless here. The best way is to not download any suspicious files or go to any suspicious website. A RAT can easily automatically send your money when you unlock your wallet. As most unconfirmed transactions are irreversible, it would be quite dangerous.

What do you mean with "Keyscramblers does not protect against keylogging hardware"? You mean keyscrambler is useless or that it can't help when someone is using a hardware keylogger?

Would keyscrambler at least be secure against software attacks?

By the way... entering passwords with something like that is one thing. But using keepass? I mean you oft enough would have to copy the password in your clipboard. Or when you want to type you would need to type the pass for keepass anyway, then show the pass.

I wonder if there can be done much anyway.

I just emailed their support team and I will post once I get a reply about those things . I read an interview between Qiran ( their CEO)and TechRepublic blog and on that time protection against Keylogging wasen't available so I'am not sure about now .

for what comes to KeePass , it's listed here : https://www.qfxsoftware.com/applications.htm so I assume it should be protected as should be

KeePass seems to be only protected in pro version. Though i wonder how they will protect it. I mean when it is used in the browser directly then it's a direct connection but what when you go through the clipboard?

And you meant they don't provide security against hardware keylogger, right? Because the purpose of that software should be to provide protection against software keyloggers.

Yes omahapoker , they don't have protection against Hardware keyloggers but he said they are working on it for the moment .
also personally , I don't see how in the hell someone will simply plug something in your PC without you noticing to be honest , this could never happen to me and I sometimes thank god because Bitcoin isn't known here , that should decrease of me being a target even if I don't really have that much . Any proofs that he indeed said that? Hardware keyloggers are much harder to protect against due to the fact that the keystrokes are intercepted before entering the computer. Many computers have IO at the back and thats usually where most people plug their keyboard and mice into. Most people don't bother to look at the back of their computer before using it and most won't notice it.

Do you mind giving me the source of this (the adware part) ? I just went to the path of AppData and I only have a configuration file [ C:\Users\xxxx\AppData\Roaming\QFX Software\KeyScrambler ] which dosen't contain anything important honestly (just the settings)

Great guide for the newbies.

May you consider adding the following? Giving the differences, cons and pros, and in depth explanation for each suggestion?

1. Online vs Offline Bitcoin wallet.
2. Bitcoin wallets besides from the option you mentioned.
3. Alt-coins.
4. Exchange and etc.
