Hey,
I am seeing demand for ETH faucets, so let's make one.

I just need one person to do the technical side, and I can gather ads, advertise, etc.

examples of domains I own: ethereumdrops.com - ethereumdrips.com - altcoinportal.com (can be multiple)

Let me know if interested.
There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, which will follow the rules of the network no matter what miners do. Even if every miner decided to create 1000 bitcoins per block, full nodes would stick to the rules and reject those blocks.
Advertised sites are not endorsed by the Bitcoin Forum. They may be unsafe, untrustworthy, or illegal in your jurisdiction.

What do you need done on the technical side? Do you already have a language/framework in mind?

I have recently become active again after a long period of inactivity. Cryptographic proof that my account has not been compromised is available.

I need someone to handle the back end and front end development. All in all the concepts seem simple.

Can easily be made with Python I would think, but as I said, I am not a programmer, although I do understand tech.

I think this would be a fun casual project for two people to handle, one doing tech of website, other promoting, and see what happens.

People would be attracted to those domains in my opinion.

If interested PM me.

Ethereum faucet is quite a welcoming idea provided it can pay good amount otherwise it will be a time killer like some of the bitcoin faucets.

Alright then I shall do that as soon as I am ready to work with the team, I was thinking of small financial involvements and I will not like to be a draw back.

There is no team. Right now just me. Are you a programmer?

The guys doing Freebitco.in faucet says the DogeCoin spinoff of the same faucet, hardly breaks even. It's already difficult to survive as a faucet using Bitcoin, so how are you

going to make this work with Ethereum? The userbase of Bitcoin is much bigger than the people using Ethereum, so you guys are going to have a hard time getting this going.

You might survive if your payout is bigger than what most facets are paying in Bitcoin, but your marketing will have to be incredible. Good luck.  Wink

Thanks haha....yeah I probably won't do it. If I did it was more for fun to help foster adoption a bit...I am working on much more serious projects than this.

Thanks again!

I think a lot of people could be interested. I was looking for a ETH faucet. I'm quite disappointed there is nothing available..

Most of the users begin with "free" coins and if they like how it works they eventually buy some...

ETH developpers should think about it.
