if you have a lot of visitors of course it will be very profitable. it depends on how many visitors you get.

I've created an altcoin faucet on free hosting before. However I can't profit from it since my payout amount is small, and I've closed the faucet few months ago. However if you create a BTC faucet with 200-300 satoshi payout then it should be profitable (as so many other faucet sites are doing this).

And a lot of visitors mean high payments Lets say I will make a faucet that gives 1k satoshi every 8hours Will I get from every visitor more that what I hive him ? I don't have an experience with AdSense and these services so I don't know their rates I've created an altcoin faucet on free hosting before. I will think about your suggestion (y)

it depends on the mass of users what use your faucet. there is always a critical mass you need to achieve in order to become profitable.

I will think about your suggestion (y) if you give 1k sats every 8hours you will only earn 1 visit from that user every 8 hours so maybe small amount but can claim every hour is way better

Well today I think it's not profitable now. Maybe it can if you started building years ago. There are many new faucets out there that only stays for a week or even a days only. But if you are really serious start with a big investment then make a site that can outshine Freebitco and some popular XAPO faucet out there.

But you can still earn from faucet. All you need to do is to create something new, it is useless to create copy of existing faucets with the same rate. To be successful you need to increase payment a lot, for some time at least, until your faucet will be recognized. If you build your user base you can profit from ads etc.

Yeah , I agree with you that there are a lot of old faucest so the competition is very hard for the new one I think I will stop thinking about creating a faucet without a good amount of btc at first

But you will really need a big investment here. Goodluck mate.

I had a faucet. It is very difficult to have profit if you are not accepted by google adsense. If you use a popads, you will not have many members.

Of course it's profitable! Selling the recipe of success for 0,05 BTC Prozet is the referral king As for the OP, depending on how you do it, yea it can be profitable. There are a lot of fly-by-night faucets that open up for a day or two and they never refill and they close. You have to set your payouts right, and you need consistent traffic.

There are e few factors that determine if a faucet is profitable or not. First of all the number of traffic. If there are to many people which will visit the faucet this is a good sign. Second the number of publicity you arrives to attract. If the publicity is good then you can have good profits. And third the satoshi you give with your faucet. If you give few you will not spend to much. If you give more you will have to find sources of bitcoin to satisfy the people.
