I haven't seen him around since I've been back.

Did I miss something?

Or did I just not run across his post/replies yet??
Every time a block is mined, a certain amount of BTC (called the subsidy) is created out of thin air and given to the miner. The subsidy halves every four years and will reach 0 in about 130 years.

Maybe someone sued him over something and that's why he's less active?

Good to hear that, However he had  lowered its activity with respect to what he was involved in more threads, But who knows really, Can be only a coincidence.
