I have like 80-ish shift, still building up my bag. I voted twice, for 66 total. Basically the top people that profit-share.

I'm basically going to make 0 until I build my bag bigger, right?

And does it bother anyone else that with DPoS, most people don't know or care who they vote for, as long as they get paid? and the delegates themselves all just have tons of coins themselves, and keep making more, and then use them to vote for themselves perpetually? I love the speed and power of DPoS projects but the actual voting mechanism is terrible from a decentralization and governance standpoint.

Exactly, it's a massive centralization of power and wealth among insiders...
The primary purpose of anything invented by Dan Larimer is to make insiders rich and keep them rich... see Bitshares and Steem and forks.

So instead if actually rolling out anything usable... SHIFT insiders consolidate power under the guise of "democracy".

Shift team will probably introduce improvements to the dpos system in the future.A dpos system for small projects works great, just look back what happend to Shift when it was a ETH fork and got constantly 51% attacks.

Yeah, the voting mechanism should be improved drastically.

Shift isn't an Ethereum blockchain anymore.  It switched to a lisk codebase over a year ago

I know lisk now is the time to vote right ones.

You should vote for lancekincaid!  They'll be paying out 80% once they start forging and will pay 1.5 shift to cover the voting cost after 1 month of voting for all voters with a balance over 5000 shift

The price of Shift is ridiculously low at the moment. New investors buying into Shift have a great opportunity to get a x5 on their investment within 2 months time. Once the Hydra public release comes in, sidechain development works, Phantom releases, AND their marketing campaign starts, Shift is surely to get to a $200 million marketcap. If the technology is as good as I believe than Shift will take a permanent spot in the top 10 coins once they release Phantom and their economic model.

All you shift holders keep holding.

By the summer we will get back to $15 per Shift.

I think it's likely to remain cheap right now... It may be cheaper in the back. We still need to invest more in a lot of research.

Today (or maybe in the next few days) a lot of the points in the roadmap are about to be accomplished! Big times ahead guys! Brace youself, shift is coming! :-)

22k is a good entry point right now.

I think in a few months some people will be in rage when they didn't bought SHIFT at a such low cost. The team is doing a great job with the project and also we can soon expect a short animated videos series about Blockchain and Shift.

Thx for the update. I'm sure some progress has been made but I also think the road map was over ambitious. If I'm not mistaken there were 12 tasks and I personally would be pleased if they resolved at least 3. Hope the team will prove me wrong.
If not, maybe in the future it would be good to set realistic goals as some may see this as under performance

The deadline of the roadmap was 31/03, but maybe the delay is because of easter! I think the roadmap updates and a new newsletter will go hand in hand.

Volume is up, but since the roadmap is not updated yet it should be more or less speculation/pumping I guess.
