Well, as I predicted during DCR's ICO, it wouldn't be long before other coins begin to launch with an SRF, with situational modifications or not. Good luck to those devs and their endeavours, may they prove to be a worthy competition to DeltaCredits.

Yes he did somewhat. I don't think it's wrong doing so as well, even with less of a spin, as long as the coin is honest. I just think his numbers are way over the top. Still, as long as some interest in that coin is stirred up, I believe you're working on that part already , it got quite a good chance of gaining a nice initial profit over the ICO price. Its probably lower price per coin compared to DCR (twice as many coins and perhaps less BTC collected) could help it as well there. While I doubt the miner investment earns even anything close of the predicted amount there are still the miner sales. Even if he falls short on weekly sales because he can't buy at least 6 S5 and with some struggles to sell them with not too much of a loss it looks good that it provides enough of a boost to keep the coin above ICO price. The big question is: What happens towards the end of these 6 weeks?

Nice little article. Only the part with reducing supply is only half the story. There are of course the burned coins reducing the supply, given the demand stays the same the price per coin would rise. But then the SRF works on the demand side as well as it needs to buy these coins first. And its an escape pod, even if no one else would want to buy the coins you'd be able to sell to the SRF.

yup, i kinda figured people would start to copy the SRF idea too, it will be kinda neat to see how they modify the SRF for certain situations, it's also great to see how you don't hold any grudges or anything for someone taking your idea, the DCR clones with SRF's will probably only help DCR in away they will only help shed light on what a great project/ community we've started here

Bittrex requires a fee of 3 BTC to be listed. At the moment, I am not willing to expend SRF funds for this cause. I am sure they will have no issues with listing DCR in the future when it becomes more popular.
