Thought about that as well. Trouble is, as far as I figured, that this person needs at least some knowledge of programming and either owns quite some coins to be auctioned off or another way to build a new SRF pool would be required. I don't think its reasonable to assume that someone invests own BTC into this, unless, again, he owns lots of Deltas and sees a possibility to get more out of it that way instead just keeping the profit of investments. It might be a bit different if it'd be the own coin, I guess it's nice to succeed a project were most fail and the possible reputation in the scene as a bonus.

You're still here ? lol
I already invested in Decred, the true DCR ; now I'm waiting for smart contracts for Decred at end of July.
By the way, it's hard to see how Adam is doing. I thought he was a honest guy, but now...
I repeat it to all : invest in Decred before the moon !

First, I don't like unfinished things and this is a coin I was active in so I'm feeling a little bit responsible for it as well. Second, why are people always assuming that other people are as single minded to support, invest or follow only one coin. So be assured I am and have been invested in a lot more coins, although I have to admit to post mostly in the threads of the smaller and not so successful coins since the larger most is already said and I don't feel the need to add anything. Thirdly, having to advertise a coin in other coins threads has the air of despair about it and therefore doesn't helps to build up confidence in it, while doing well with annoyance, so the effect seems to me quite opposite than usually intended.

Well, couldn't stop thinking about it and perhaps I made things sound worse than they actually are. For once I somewhat forgot that there are only 102k coins and slightly over 10k are already burned. With current price that's less than 1 BTC overall, so less funds are needed to start with than I thought. Then the wallet is working quite well, with the exception of things like the fusing inputs problem and these are mostly a matter of changing values, the hardest hurdle should be compiling a new windows wallet there. That leaves us with the problem of the stuck chain, either someone here is still able to jump on to give it a push or we need to get PoW going again where some knowledge is required. Anyway, I'll PM Gladimor to find out if there's any response.

Perhaps one of us still want to invest in DCRE and have sufficient development knowledge to takeover the project.

Whatever i will stay around  Grin

I know, but the forum might send him a notification email about it and perhaps it gets somewhere, but I don't expect much.

Yes, the wallet is open because it doesn't makes trouble and I will continue to keep an eye in here and follow and think about things.

Yes the blockchain seems to be stuck and the BE doesn't seem to have DeltaCredits listed. In all honesty, I lack the technical knowledge to tackle this issue. If anyone would be willing to step out to help with the problem, I'd gladly issue a bounty.

Welcome back Gladimor. Smiley The PoW part of the coin, was it disabled once a certain block went by or just set up without reward?

PoW was disabled at a block number.

PoW was disabled at a block number.
Then, I guess the easiest 2 options would either wait if someone with unlocked inputs would come on or do a hard fork to enable PoW again, and address the input management issues.

Possible, but I got three connections and and it looks like we're all sitting on the same block.
Since we seem to be at a dead end, i say we liquidate the SRF between coin holders. We snapshot the chain at block 34761 and we divide the btc equally between the remaining coin holders. If there are technical problems i can bring in a dev can we can pay him some % out of the srf.
Then again, if you guys are willing to restart the chain and go from there i'm in for that too.

A bit late since I'm quite busy, but I'd say we continue and try to restart the blockchain. Shouldn't be too hard, replace the blocknumber set to be the last valid PoW block with one somewhat into the future, make sure PoW pays no rewards past transaction fees and get Yobit to update their wallet.

As Yobit has disabled withdrawals, I'll be buying a few to add to my bag as well as amounts to send to the burn address once withdrawals are re-enabled.
