If it would stay there spinning till you stopped it somehow; it would actually serve a purpose. You would always be able to tell if the fan was running without actually having to get up close to the device Smiley

Awesome.  I like the visual indicator tho, might try that with paper wheels on paperclips sometimes it is hard to tell sitting in a heat factory.

Haha thanks guys Smiley It's indeed an old one, but I never got around to posting it on this forum.

Using it as a power indicator is a nice idea Smiley BFL told me they have "whirligigs" on their personal units too now Cheesy
Do note that you probably need a few tries to get a really stable one. It depends a bit on size and weight, and on how much it's folded.
