Yeah, i'm sure Liverpool will play offensive to make many goals, especially this match play at their home anfield. Both teams Liverpool and As Roma has a big motivation to win this match. I'm sure will watch it live! it must be amazing match to watch! and i agree i think it will be over 2.5 or 3 goals.

Based on the odds that the bookies give, Liverpool has a great chance to win this first leg match. Liverpool ML@1.53 isn't so bad for me. Liverpool is great at home while Roma isn't bad at away, this game for sure will be tough. I predicted less goal will be made tonight.

Yup, I agree. But I think Barca were probably nonchalant in their heads prior to the game, before they knew what hit them. I don't think Liverpool will make the same mistake. Liverpool will definitely score tonight. the question is if Roma will be able to grab an away goal to make the second leg interesting enough. Knowing the Italians, they probably have a defensive game plan for the Liverpool attack tonight.

Am I the only one who thinks we're not going to see that many goals today? I think we're going to see a conservative game, Liverpool won't necessarily park the bus but I doubt Klopp prepared the same tactics we saw against Man City at Anfield (full out attack in the first half). AS Roma on ther other are really good at defending, in their first match vs Barcelona, if it wasn't for two own goals, the result would've been 2-1, in the second match they didn't concede a single goal. Under 2.5 Goals @ 2.30 right now looks ok to me, but I'll give it a bit more thought.

I agree with your view, as both team have good defense so their will be not much goals and under 2.5 goal bet is a good bet. First half draw is a good bet also.

Notice Roma's adjustment from the first leg to the second leg vs Barca.  Roma used a 4 3 3 in the first leg and then adjusted to a 3 5 2 in attack or 5 4 1 (expecting Barca's pressing game) in defense during the second leg, with three center backs defending man to man vs Suarez, Messi and Dembele and with two Roma wide men backing the CB's up..  Roma could use the same strategy vs Liverpool later.

If things go well for Roma, it could be 0 - 1 with Dzeko scoring a header.

It will be a Liverpool win tonight, their total focus is on the Champions league and M.Salah ex Roma player is in top form winning best player of the premier league title. I think there will no broken hearts tonight and Liverpool will win maybe with a handicap, I predict it to win 2-0.

@Wendigo, of course we're ready! I can't believe I've to miss the first half though (family and all that). My prediction is over 3 goals actually, haha. I also took a handicap of -1.25 @2.1 but only because better odds weren't available earlier. Fiat bets on bookies have Salah to score at 7/1 so definitely worth $10!

@Trofo oh hell yeah, the last person to remember how to park the bus at Anfield was Lucas Leiva (god I feel old).

UEFA official site claims it's 4-3-3 for Liverpool and 3-4-2-1 for Roma.

But it's only on a paper. In the game, I guess Roma will transform the line-up accordingly to the situation from 5-4-1 to 3-5-2 and 3-4-2-1. Seems like Di Francesco bets on Nainggolan's endurance and universality again. Predictably, but risky. Exciting to see how it will work against Klopp's mania to high pressing.

I also think that Liverpool is going to win tonight with over 2.5 goals on match. Away goal should means a lot to Roma for re-match, I could say that it is crucial for them in this duel. I don`t think that they could avoid to be defeated tonight but I really can not say who will qualified to the finales. When a team eliminate Barcelona nobody can say that they are not favorite for the big finale.

But this time for Roma's home field advantage this time.
Bayern Munich and Real Madrid play next for their semis.
That one should be slower than this one from the last Bayern game I watched. They didn't score a single goal versus Sevilla.

Of course Roma will be playing them again; there are 2 fixtures in the semi-finals. My point was that Liverpool have qualified already with that 5-2 score. Miracles can happen sometimes. I don't believe Roma will get so lucky 2 times in a row though
