It's a bad result for Inter Milan. They were unable to defeat the weakest team in group B and must fail to enter to the next round. Inter and Tottenham both have collected 8 points but Tottenham were ahead in the aggressiveness of away goals and qualify to the next round.

Yes it is a bad day for inter because inter should win the match against the PSV and they play at home, again Inter has mastered the game well if we look at the statistics. Maybe this season is not their chance to continue fighting in the CL, we will see it again in the future if they are able to maintain their 3rd position in the Serie A league.

Tottenham are quite lucky to be playing Barcelona yesterday as Barcelona have already qualified as the leader for Group B despite any result in the match yesterday, as you could see in the Barcelona line up when they are playing against Tottenham yesterday. Lionel Messi, Sergio Busquets, Arturo Vidal and Gerard Pique are all starting on the bench as substitutes for the match, this have made it much more easier for Tottenham to gain points from Barcelona in the match. But Inter Milan did still messed it all up by earning only 1 point against PSV Eindhoven despite playing with home ground advantage.

Inter lost a great chance yesterday, they took PSV too easily and as a result they are out of the Champions League now. Tottenham scored one of the most beautiful goals in the season so far although no one expected Tottenham to draw Barcelona yesterday as Barcelona was playing really good and they didn't care about the position of Inter and Tottenham.

Liverpool have qualified to the knockout stages. It'll be interesting to see who their next rival is gonna be in the RO16, it's gotta be a group winner (since they've finished 2nd in their group) so even though we still need to wait for the games tomorrow to have all the group winners, there's a chance that they could play against one of the top teams like Bayern, Barcelona, Real Madrid, or Juventus, there's also Dortmund, or the one everybody wants, Porto.

Tottenham also qualified to the next round, I was rooting for Inter but they weren't able to beat one of the weakest teams in the group stages like PSV (shame of you, Inter), at least they'll be one of the big favorites to win the Europa League this season.

I hope Liverpool get one of the big guys early, especially Real Madrid or Juventus, because they seem to do well against big opponents. Maybe lose away but win at home in Anfield. That is always nice to see as a Champions League Matchup.

My team is Barcelona, who rested Messi until 70th minute but still didn't lose, and I don't want them to meet Liverpool so soon, maybe in semifinal is nice.

PSV were really incredible, pity no Inter in last 16 but I guess they simply aren't good enough anyway.

fair points. but Spurs played really well, never gave up, made a boatload of chances. i was impressed and happy to see them go through, good young attacking side.

Got back home at 3am last night from the game. There were loads of roadworks on the motorway damn it.
Had about 4 hours sleep but well worth it.

Today there is only one match which really matters - Shakhtar will play against Lyon. Shakhtar need to win, while for Lyon it's enough to play draw to reach next rounds. I would say that Shakhtar have small advantage - they will play in frozen pitch, there is a possibility of snow tonight - such conditions aren't common for Lyon. Theorically it's home game for Shaktar, but game will be played in Kyiv, because UEFA didn't let to play in Kharkiv due to martial law.
Other matches tonigh don't have big impact - some teams are still fighting for Europa league spots. Maybe Ajax - Bayern match - both teams will fight for 1st place in group.

Inter basically gave away their chance to continue, they were playing PSV and PSV is basically gone right now, this game didn't worth anything to PSV and everything to Inter.

Spurs managed to get a draw and stay, Inter should have won that game and move to next stage. Think about it champions league happens only once a year and you are in the group stage with just one win away from going to next stage and playing the worst team in your group, its really shameful of them to not get a W in this one.

Liverpool on the other hand managed to grab a win from Napoli, I thought they needed to be 2-0, apparently 1-0 is enough as well, they are moving to the next stage with last year in mind, considering what they did last year they should have been going to next stage a lot easier than this but nevertheless they are there.

I think it will be an interesting match between Ajax and Bayern Munich today for Group E in the Uefa Champions League, both of these teams have not lost any games in this group yet, and Ajax have a chance to achieve the top spot in this group if they can beat Bayern Munich today with home ground advantage. But Bayern Munich would not be an easy team to beat with so many high quality players playing in the team, so I guess there might be a high chance we might see a draw at the final whistle in this match.

To me, Alisson was the saviour for Liverpool today. Though Salah scored a very decisive goal, but it could have been cancelled out easily by the Naples.

Ajax - Bayern - what a game. We saw everything in this match - great goals, amazing saves by goalkeepers, penalties, red cards. One of the best matches this season so far.

Manchester United defeat doesn't surprise me when you put out players like Jones and Rojo defeat is what you should be expecting. I believe Manchester United need to sell Jones, Rojo, Smalling, Valencia and invest in the squad, but not under Mourinho. The biggest upset was Real Madrid who suffered a humiliating defeat by Cska, and even Juventus suffered an unexpected defeat against Young boys. The round of 16 will surely be an interesting one, can't wait for the draws now.

Man I totally agree with Real Madrid and Juventus and Manchester United playing like crap with weak teams because they already qualified. Can't blame anyone for putting the league first and not risking star players. But for me, teams should always play to win, because mentality of victory is momentum.

Anyway, what a crap Real loss, and amazing Ajax who could have won to finish Group leaders. Shame on Juventus really but famous Young Boys victory they will always remember.

All gamblers lost money yesterday because I think almost anyone played Real Madrid to win. No one expected a 0-3 result and a win of CSKA Moscow before the game started.

The good thing is that there are a few teams that need to win like Liverpool today and I placed a big amount on Villareal to win today game.
