Hey

Nevermind the usefulness of mining with this GPU! (=
guiminer does not show the gpu in the list, I downloaded the latest driver today and they work as far as I can tell. My google skills yields no related results to what I want/need. Driver version is : 6.14.13.1422 (2013-03-14) and looking in 'driver details' I can see the filepath to OpenCL.dll (version 1.0.0) by Khronos Group.
Is anyone familiar with the 8800 GTS in regards to mining?

I've got one, it rips out a considerable 14MHash/s, which is enough to earn 1 BTC in approximately never.

I made it work with the latest drivers and cgminer, just answer the default questions, and you'll soon be on your way to making less than one "minimum transaction fee" in BTC per month.

Yes, what about it?

Uh, well others who have used that card have left pertinent notes on what they did to get it to work.  I my very brief perusal of the entries I saw that some said they were using CUDA.  But if you have looked and there is no useful information than I got nothing.
Good Luck,
Sam
