If you follow the transactions most of the selling and buying [not so much] are coming from China.  Whats going on over their this morning that has caused this sell-off?

Must be margin calls. Or rush to liquidate, since the stock market's been crashing down all week.

Who knows? maybe it is a trading strategy to create a panic and buy low

They probably see better ways to invest outside from btc. or dont want to deal with the volatility.

Or either they can find themself buying a home in the states which I read a cnn article that most median chinese households can do now.

chinese people like short term investments with high reward potential. bitcoin fits perfectly in that picture. this current decline is purely market manipulation.

Yuan has been having some major issues of late, dropping a LOT despite support from the Chinese banking system/government.

Perhaps that issue finally got a serious positive resolution?

I'm no longer legendary just in my own mind!
