Blockchain.info will celebrate its fourth birthday with four million wallets

In just one year, the number of bitcoin wallets hosted by the most popular wallet service provider has doubled again.

Of course, four million wallets do not mean four million users. Some Reddit users claimed they have ten or more blockchain wallets. The exact number of users is hard to determine because Blockchain.info does not collect personal data of its customers. Coinbase claims its 3.8 million wallets belong to 2.5 million individual users.

 

Also have a wallet (or two) with them but have not used those in over a year. Have not looked at them in a while but security is still my main concern. Will just stick to my Trezor and Electrum.

Interesting figure from CoinBase, 2.5m individual users. Bitcoin is gaining more and more traction by the day.

Half of them are probably empty/unused wallets But nice milestone nevertheless

I have 5 wallets with them. < 2 x Honeypots to trigger the warnings / 1 x test wallet / 1 x permanent for small amounts >
The fact that it's not bogged down with all the regulations, make it so much easier to use it. I use my Trezor for the serious stuff, and the rest is all stuffed away safely in cold storage.

It's good to set a perimeter warning grid, to see if you are being monitored or if someone is trying to hack you.

Actually a good idea to keep a 'semi public' wallet like that with some dust in it and keep the rest very private.

I'm also using a Trezor but think I will implement your idea and setup a honeypot or two which I'll keep on my phone & pc for any 'intruder' to see
