I have a Gridseed Blade I keep for solo mining old shitcoins.  I flipped it on BEEZ for a couple days and was getting every block.  Just find one with low DIFF and a low hashrate and go for it!!

Sometimes, or I just fire up an old wallet and see what the hashrate is.  I know it's not for profit, but I do like seeing in the wallet that I mined 6000 blocks!!

So you are not solo mining?  You are creating your own pool.  Solo mining is a piece of cake!!

Here are a few suggestions (based on their current diff - not profitability!):
CMC, EOC, FAIL, FLT, EMD, NYAN, GLC, SPT, CSC
I am not involved in any of these coins, but I have their wallet running and from time to time I am also solomining some of them with a few Mhs (making money is great, but popping a block is still unpayable  Cheesy ).
If your private pool supports merge mining, you might want to add SJW as auxpow.
Note: The ones in purple are POS/POW hybrids, the others are pure POW.
