Being Trolled

Ran into a issue with a account and believe it is a alt account by some one that has a issue with me for some reason or another.
He suddenly starts posting in my thread and pretty much only my thread and will log out after he has had a go at me.
Have not seen him post in any other thread but this one.
Granted its a touchy subject and I realized a lot of people do not read thread through or have a poor grasp at reading. Lesson learned but what are the steps for dealing with a troll?

Here is what I have done.
Asked him to stay on point.
Asked him to be civil or stop posting in the thread
Requested him to send me a pm if he has a personal issue with me to deal out of the forum
Blocked and sent him a pm stating so
As well as reporting his posts

Now I am new to this and the only feedback I get is 100% accuracy but nothing comes of the posts I report.

What are the next steps,do I leave a comment on his trust with a link to the thread?

Ignore the troll and you will go away. One thing you have to remember is anything can happen on this forum; you have to treat it no different than real life. Ignore the person and eventually they will give up and go away.

There are rules about spamming as well. Posting a lot of low-quality content over a small period of time often results in a ban and even a perma ban if the user keeps going.

But you're right about it being hard to draw the line between trolling and when someone's serious. It's easy to lose the respect of the community and be ignored though.

Depends on how patient you are; I've never heard of a troll trolling someone for more than an year.

You don't need to do anything dramatic at all, just put him on ignore and if he tries to spam you to get your attention the mods will end up banning him.
