Every time a block is mined, a certain amount of BTC (called the subsidy) is created out of thin air and given to the miner. The subsidy halves every four years and will reach 0 in about 130 years.

If Bitcoin crash then Litecoin will crash, too. Thus, no matter if you hold BTC or LTC, you will lose anyway  Cool

Why not?, choo choo!

I've bought the Uninsured vehicle and will be completely be at peace with my life if it crash and burns. As easy-e once said "done wrapped my six-fo rounda telephone pole, fuck it, throw it in the gutta I'll go buy another"

Until that happens, um wait, just mined another 2 LTC during this edit.

This and only this

lol@ investing in any crypto thinking it'll rise when BTC falls. If BTC falls 98% of them will collapse

Bitcoin is falling to pieces by the end of the year the price will be under $100. Buy litecoin it is the true successor to bitcoin.

I have no doubt about that we are going to see some nice LTC pump soon, but as litecoin offers nothing better than bitcoin I don't think it will hold better than BTC in the case of a collapse. Fiat and some 2.0 coins seems to be better choices for escaping the coming storm (if we'll see any storm at all).
