Hey everyone, Im Tommy from bitlab,, 2 years ago myself and a good friend pooled together our resources with a vision to have some fun and create something. We have been mining bitcoin and alts ever since, 24/7. We have been selling our used gear on eBay which sucks due to eBay fees, after a while we decided to launch our own store, so last march we launched www.bitlabshop.com. We've been really happy with it and the experience of it but its been hard to get traffic with only word of mouth and social media promotion. Anyhow If I put this on our site not many will see it,, and if I price our s5s like this on eBay we will get raped on fees. So. We are matching Bitmain's USED S5 price $340 = You must cover the shipping, and if you want to do escrow I hear OGNasty is the dude to talk to, you cover his fee. Here is a link with instructions for Ognasty's ESCROW service : https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=303281.msg3244972#msg3244972They will be shipped in their Original packaging measuring 15 X 9 X 9 & weighing around 8.5 LBS box and all. I will ship them anyway you want (except USPS) as long as you cover the cost, I recommend UPS Ground, please no USPS. All of our gear is solid. If there is a problem, we fix it, if thats a fix or a refund we take care of the people who buy from us.Just like Bitmain,, our S5s are USED in a warehouse environment,, there will be dust,, there will be scuffs and scratches. All are in 100% working order. I currently have them listed on eBay, you can check out our feedback here : http://www.ebay.com/usr/bitlabllcAnd I have them on our site : http://bitlabshop.com/mining-equipment/bitmain-antminer-s5-1155-ghs-590-wattsWe are offering the best price we can here on bitcointalk, to establish ourselves as trusted members of the community, our mining OP "bitlab" recognized as us, and our shop "bitlabshop" known to be us. Here is a link to our other commerce thread here : https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1034424.0I am bitlab on btcjam you can check me out there too. Feel free to call me, my number is on our site. Actual pic showing 9 of the S5s for sale here. Powered with PSUS from holy Scot, and j4bberwock breakouts.

I think these are the cheapest S5's available right now. Happy to provide escrow for these sales. Good luck!

[/quote] Wow that sucks,, I would not conduct my business like that,, every sale is personal,, I would NOT just post an address publicly and ask people to send BTC without contacting me first.
I will always state "Escrow Accepted", And I will always use Ognasty for the Escrow service.
Transparent as can be, plain and simple & straight forward, common courteous business sense, thats how I roll.

What the price to ship it to Canada? (for one machine)
Winnipeg, Manitoba, R2C0P8 to be more specific. UPS/FedEx/USPS whatever does not matter.
Also how much does one machine usually make per day/week/month? How many months/weeks should I expect to recover the cost, etc? :p
Thank you very much!

https://i.imgur.com/XGmgiYK.pngper S5. Thanks for asking. Not bad, and you only accept BTC, no bank transfer or PayPal, etc? I am willing to send you a copy of my ID, with a bill from a bank to prove that I won't scam etc. P.S. Someone is impersonating you. I got this PM: !!! WARNING: This user is a newbie. If you are expecting a message from a more veteran member, then this is an imposter !!!

Thanks, audiotopix Hey Flashpoint, I can accept standard debit/credit card payments VIA Stripe on our website, though we do prefer BTC, (the cheapest price is here on this forum) and for the sake of this community, because I have posted here I would prefer to run these sales here for btc through OGnasty's ESCROW service as I am trying to get my name and my brand "bitlab" & bitlabshop.com out there. I want to build my trust here and become a well known hardware reseller and promo merch supplier. Hopefully with enough hard work and time, bitlab can become one of the best in the business. I can only accept paypal through eBay sales, And im just not interested in bank transfers, apologies. "Banking is Necessary, Banks are Not" As for calculating the profitability of equipment please check out bitcoinwisdom you can find those estimations there. Thank you for telling me about the imposter, that really sucks, thats the one thing that I hate about our community,, it is completely riddled with assholes that do shit to fuck over honest people trying to conduct honest business. I have left -trust for that asshole, if there is anything more I can do about it Id love too unfortunately I don't think there is. For anyone looking at this thread, It is known that there is a person slightly misspelling my name and attempting to impersonate me to steal BTC from people, please be aware.
I will not private message anyone first,, all my replies will be here in this thread, and for anything that requires a private message just message me first. Also the ONLY address I will use to accept BTC from these sales is: 179urASHpmdGwdrrgBYVodagJbmAvYugXj which can be seen directly in my profile. If you encounter the imposter please leave -trust, and cuss at them allot too. I really appreciate this community, and I am doing my best to conduct business in the most fair and transparent way possible. Thank you.

It looks like by day #312 it will be a bit pointless to keep the machine running, would it be possible to "hack" the machine to do something else in the future? So it won't be a "waste of money"?

Well, you can use them to mine alternative SHA-256D currencies, and one thing to consider when running calculators is that anything can change for better or for the worse. Also even though a machine is burning more electricity than it is bringing in some people still choose to mine and hold the btc even at a loss because they speculate that the value will one day rise to a point where it wasnt a loss to have mined it. Idealy within 312 days you would already be using something else, I recommend keeping a constant rotation whenever possible. However I would speculate that by 312 days you would be in the black in terms of ROI plus a little.

That is true, although it makes a most nothing by day 312 with BTC, and almost no other 'good' coin uses SHA-256 due to these miners. Lucky for me, electricity is "free" in my apartment so its all good.
