GAMBLE OR INVEST?

While the question seems to have an easy answer and it's investing, I would remind many of you that investing in Bitcoin could have the same or worse fate than gambling it all away. There are plenty of scams due to the poor regulation of Bitcoin sites and companies. With that being said, well, I won't ever advise gambling in the same level as investing if you have a legit option, just gamble for fun what you can afford and keep the rest safe. If you happen to find a good investment option let me know

i would rather invest, on hyips to be specific, than gamble it. luck is one factor because i feel more lucky investing on hyip schemes than gambling it on a casino site. also profits on investing is predictable for me while on gambling it's not because its pure luck.

As far I've read about HYIPs, they too invest their investments in Forex and they only return the cahs if they win else they too turn scam. Have read about so many HYIPs and Ponzis on the forum and when they are compared with Gambling, I feel gamblign is to an extent reliable as atleast you yourself lose the cash which is not the case with Ponzis. Also, it depends on which HYIP site you choose.

There are not only hyip sites to invest bitcoin and i think hyip sites should not call as a invest option as they will run away with your money for sure IMO.But there are some sites you can invest(There are some dice site you can invest i recommend just-dice)Honestly as i said earlier its depend on bankroll if you have huge bankroll you should invest and if you have small bankroll you should gamble try your luck and have fun.Don't gamble what you can't afford to lose.

Whats the guarantee? Even though assuming you made some money in gambling ,how long you will the benefits of keeping it ? Investing is still safe as you always have a track and control of your funds.

Risk is involved in both, whether it is a website (you don't own) or a business or anything. Same goes with gambling. The only difference is that if you invest, you should have some kind of assurity that your money is in safe hands while gambling is just for fun and cannot be considered a way of earning money. here I am not talking about ponzi schemes are most of them are just scam.

I do both, gamble and invest.

Been invested in bitcoin since the $7-$14 range. Been gambling since forever. Specifically with Bitcoin, been gambling with it since after Poker Black Friday starting with Seals and a few other now defunct poker sites and also playing Dragon's Tale and BitZino. Currently pretty much all my action is on Betcoin.ag playing poker.

The risk/reward for investing in Bitcoin has been more than worth it for me. And using Bitcoin to gamble/play poker has been very good for me as well, both in terms of utility and profitability.

Getting profit by gambling is always based on luck. No guarantees at all.
Even if you gain at one moment you can loose every thing in the next moment. It's always too risky with gambling.
Investments are also risky but select programs can fetch us.

i prefer to have fun with my money and investing cant give it unless its really risky and you get a thrill that you might loose your money with the investment, i choose gambling always as gambling is my hobby

How can you have a positive expected value in gambling? The only thing that comes to my mind is if you are arbitraging bets on sportsbooks or you are the sportsbook.
Investing doesn't always have a positive expected value either.

thats a very hard decision to do i must admit, but i think it would be smarter to invest your coins somewhere than gamble it all away, gambling is a bad thing as you always lose, if i had to choose where to invest i would select just-dice

Smarter to invest your coins somewhere as in invest your coins in ponzi. Is that what you mean?

I think it is better to invest. When you invest in the right things you have mathmatically a better chance to get a profit.

I think this would depend on how well you know the owners and casino that you're going to invest in. You can't invest into something without doing a little research for yourself.
If you're just looking for entertainment and have a chance to win something, go for gambling. I think investing into something is better to do for a long term rather than playing a quick gamble.

If u play games where there is skill (poker, sports betting, dfs) u are pretty much investing in yourself.

Investing is more good and profitable depends on the site but i dont recommend any website just hold your bitcoin and wait for the price increase.
Gambling is for fun noy for making  money or living and if you play much you will lose all your money so its better to stay on gambling..
But if you feel lucky you can try it but dont play it everyday you may lose your money..

Investing in itself is gambling in a way. You're bound to lose in the long run, it's just a "safer way" to gamble.

What is the difference between investing and gambling? You are risking funds/coins/fiat to earn a return. Both does have its ups and downs. Personally, I do look gambling as a form of investing, but I'm only gambling via sportsbook, so I can't comment on casino games etc.
What's the pros of gambling (ie sportsbook)?: It's fast! You can earn your money back in seconds - but you have to take quick decisions, which can affect your performance and in the end your earnings.
The pros of investing in assets, such as gold, stocks, bonds, fiat or even Bitcoins and other e-coins is found in minimizing the risk of losing your investment money. If the value of Bitcoins falls today, it could rise up tomorrow, it's a solid long time investment.
