For starters, there's the fact that he's an admitted child molester. You'd think that alone would be enough to compromise his stance as a family values moralizer, given that he was forced to resign as the executive director of the conservative lobbying group the Family Research Council after In Touch Weekly blew the whistle on the fact that he molested five young women when he was a teen, including four of his sisters.
The former TLC star and his wife Anna have since made a big show of how Duggar has reformed into a chaste man with traditional Christian, but the two paid accounts on Ashley Madison uncovered by Gawker seem to suggest otherwise.
Gawker sifted through the data dumped by the Ashley Madison hack and traced a credit card belonging to a Joshua J. Duggar back to the Arkansas home frequently featured on the now canceled 19 Kids and Counting. Duggar paid almost $1,000 for two monthly subscriptions ranging from February 2013 to May 2015.

Gawker uncovered a second account which came with a $250 fee that included an "affair guarantee". So basically, if the person purchasing the credits didn't have an affair within 90 days, he got his money back. It's some interesting behavior for a guy who has spouted some horrendous and bigoted views against gay people seeking marriage equality in order to supposedly protect the sanctity of the institution. >>
