You have to think Barca will take the win, nobody can deal with MSN (Messi-Suarez-Neymar).

Yeah , Barca maybe can win league this season . and madrid must fight to second place . madrid must fight spirit 110% to second place in BBVA  . because athletico very strong squad and playing team work for this season .

For a team like real madrid which is full of pride, they dont really need the second place if they cant win the league. Getting the second in spanish league is more to like getting humiliation however atletico madrid on the other hand wont be sitting still for real madrid to catch up their margin of points

They are actually quite equal however the advantage surely with barcelona because the match going to be in nou camp. Ever since zidane took over the team, they have becoming better compared to when benitez was still coaching so the match would be equal however barcelona adapt faster to the team's strategy so they are abit better than real madrid

They could have as well just declare themselves as the league winner for now however if they could win in the next el clasico then they will get another 3 points which would easily seal the league trophy. They have also champions league match before the el clasico so it seems they will hold back some players for the champions league

el clasico has been begin with very long times and i do agree with you this is pride match between 2 strong teams on spanish league and some fans from those teams said win this match are most important than anything
