The public key is just yout bitcoin address, which you can receive btc with.
NEVER give your private key to somebody else. The private key is to gain access to make transactions and is needed if you have accidentaly deleted your wallet from your pc (otherwise you won't be able to recover it).
But it's just saved in your wallet so you don't have to put it in everytime.

No. Public key and Bitcoin address are different. Bitcoin address is hashes version of a public key.

Private key is needed to access your Bitcoins even if you haven't deleted your wallet. Wallets just manage them.

Hello,

Public key is your Bitcoin adress.
This address can be seen by all.
Private key is your protection for bitcoins.
If I have your private key and your wallet is not protected with password,I can spend your bitcoins.
password protection doesnt matter if you have the private key. the private key alone would give access to control of the bitcoins associated with the public address of the private key.

uh not really public key isn't exactly your bitcoin address, it's the bitcoin address that was "hashed away" with multiple rounds

basically address are derived from public key which are derived from private key
