As for you question, is like u9y42 said, you don't need to deposit anything. That value is only used to calculate your ROI%, and you 5% max bet, so you can declare any value. You don't even need to have that total ammount with you, so you can declare 1 BTC if you want to get triple prizes.
Just remember that you must feel confotable in betting 5% of your bank if you ever need to.

i guess he/she means additional bonus (special event) for this tournament that directbet provide an additional bonus to people who won the most bitcoins just until the end of this year ( we hope this tournament keep running until then ) . nice idea but i think directbet already provide many bonuses atm. very generous.

As for the duplicate bets rule
Rule 7 from the Betting Rules section has been updated, hope it's more clear now.

7. You can not have "duplicate" bets even if they are made at diferent odds. If you do so, we will only count the first one. By "duplicate bet" we refer to bets that represent exactly the same outcome, even if they are from different markets.

I can't state all the cases, since they are quite a few. If you have doubts when placing a bet feel free to ask on the forum.
