If you restart your computer it will continue to download where you left off at.

However you said "reinstalled" I hope you still have your wallet.dat file otherwise you may have lost your coins.

what the hell? Did you deleted wallet.dat file? Shocked
If yes, probably you'd lost your coins. Or at least do you have backup of your wallet?

What can you do with your received address? Watch only? Grin

If you want to recover deleted files, i'll recommend:
1. Wise data recovey,
2. Tune up undelete,
3. Icare data recovery.

But i'm not sure that you'll get back that wallet.dat try your luck at wise data recovery

if you'd copied that wallet.dat file means, you didn't lose your coin. Wink

Check first you adress to receive coins with your wallet with that you used to do withdrawal if it is different then yes try of recover the old wallet with an recovery program, But take in mind that some exchanges send a link thru email to confirm the withdrawal, Is it case?  Besides I remember to you that there is not matter if you wallet is off of sync to receive coins, If you do an withdrawal correctly you could receive your coins as long as you use same adress to send and receive. A last question: Do you have sync now?

Never delete wallet.dat (litecoin, bitcoin or whatever coin) before having a backup or knowing the private keys.

Furthermore, I don't understand why newcomers don't use electrum-ltc Sad

By the look of things the good thing about the mess you created is that you most likely you did not encrypt your wallet.
Do not install anything on your computer as the chance are you will overwrite increases.
Dont know what system you use windows, linux.......but this should help. (Bitcoin very much the same)
