We are in a bad week for Atalanta. They've been losing points for a few games and are now losing against Lecce. If the match ends like this, they will be far from the lead. They can also fall behind teams like Lazio and Juventus.

Lecce are a team that are at a disadvantage in the standings without a win in their last 5 matches. And it has to be behind goals from Lecce which is a form we didn't see from Atalanta before, as they are the top team in the table now. They also need a win to at least be able to maintain their current position so as not to be displaced by other teams who are very close to them. Napoli are at the forefront again as their rivals are now in a desperate situation to catch up with them in the table. Something that Napoli hopes can really happen after previously AC Milan who failed to reach full points to keep the distance with Napoli.

How wrong I was!
When I added the victory of Milan to the same multibet. Of course, now I remember the previous round where Milan barely won in the last minutes against the weak Spezia and I think that "it was obvious", but it's too late  
In fact, this draw completely changes the picture in Serie A - now there is no "two leaders and everyone else", but there is one leader and everyone else.

And that team is Napoli who from week to week they feel something comfortable because their competitors failed to get 3 points this week. And if other teams follow in the footsteps of AC Milan, such as Atalanta and Lazio then they (Napoli) can sit comfortably at the top of the table. They now have a difference of 8 points from AC Milan and 11 points from Lazio and Atalanta who have the same points. Now Napoli don't need to chase a lot of goals from Serie A, they just need to win the game even by a narrow score. They don't need to be ambitious to be able to win with a landslide score. It is a comfortable position for Napoli before the international break.

Napoli basically has nothing to worry about right now because they are 8 points clear of the team which is in the second position. As a result, they are taking a huge advantage over the other teams. After all the teams come back from the international break, it is going to feel like Napoli is getting a head start on the season.

It was an unexpected result for Milan though. They really should have done better in the last match. Now the competition is going to be very close from the second position to the eighth position on the table.

Atalanta has dominated the match in terms of possession but it seems that the attacking force of the team is underperforming because they are not taking advantage of their opportunities. Leece seems to be more effective on the attack and the defense is curtailing the Atalanta attack. Atalanta showed a lot of prospects at the beginning of the season and I expected them to be consistent but seeing a 16th-placed team deal making the match difficult for them is a sign that they might even lose their 3rd position.

Unlike Atalanta, Napoli has been consistent this season and I do not doubt that they would continue till the end of the season because they have a good first team and a trustworthy reserve.

Obviously I am very sorry that Milan failed to win the match against Cremonese yesterday which ended in a goalless draw for both teams. Milan were better in this match but unfortunately the finishing of the chances did not allow them to score. Now being 8 points behind Napoli is not something that is easy to cut, it's because Napoli are really strong and haven't dropped points even in tough matches.

I don't really think Milan have seen a decline in form even though at the moment they have failed to get full points in 2 of their last 5 matches. It's bad, but I don't necessarily blame everyone for that considering other teams are also eager to score points at home. Here Torino and Cremonese succeed, of course having made Milan fail to stay close to Napoli.

Napoli have a good chance to win serie-a title this season considering the difference of 8 points is quite a big difference. Mathematically, it is easy to get for Milan to equalize this point, but how about the performance of Milan or other clubs, can they beat Napoli or not. But Milan is still possible to lose 3x, meaning 8 points is quite difficult if Napoli remain consistent with their performance.

To be honest, I really don't think that the performance of Napoli was that much of a surprise.

Usually, they start well too, but the problem is that many times they fail to continue with the same consistency after they have started well. However, this season that has not been a problem for them at all. As a team, they have played quite consistently throughout the season. I honestly think that they might be able to win the title this season if they are able to hold on to their position. There is no doubt that they have a very solid lead and they should be able to use it to their advantage.

Atalanta really struggled to develop the game in the match against Lecce where the hosts were able to score two goals early which made Atalanta's situation even more difficult in that match, even I saw some good opportunities that were built failed to be completed well by Atalanta players . In my opinion, this is a downward trend in Atalanta performance after previously atalanta had to accept the defeat of Napoli and continued with the defeat of fromLecce. This is a lesson for Gasperini to be able to change the formation a bit in the upcoming match. Inter Milan  -  Bologna

Inter Milan's performance is not improving. Inter Milan's performance in Serie A is very poor. They are not playing well. Inter Milan lost points even against Juventus in the last match. I expected them to win today against Bologna and get back on track. But their performance against Bologna was also poor. This is Inter Milan's home match. Bologna took a 1-0 lead in just 22 minutes. I don't see any good attacks from Inter Milan players. Inter Milan will lose today's home match if they play like this.

Actually I should have understood something might go wrong from the odd of Atalanta win to be very high. Lecce were in a much worse condition than Atalanta in the end but somehow Atalanta still weren't a very clear favourite by bookmakers. It looks like they gave a signal to us. Atalanta were just desperate in defense today. They could have still made up for that by using their productiveness. But they couldn't do this either. How interesting it is to see Juventus winning in this stadium not much time ago but Atalanta not being able to do the same.

Napoli are in a very comfortable position after this result.
