Judging from the composition of the players or the depth of the squad between the two teams, on paper Inter Milan is indeed superior compared to AC Milan. Atalanta's overall performance this season have been absolutely impressive and even when I would've loved to see them win the Italian Super Cup, I believe they gave their best but their best wasn't enough to stop them from being eliminated from the competition. Atalanta are still in strong contention to win the Italian Serie A title this season as well as the Coppa Italia and possibly the UEFA Champions League trophy. Gasperini already have a trophy with Atalanta as he guided the club to the Europa League title last season so he's very capable of winning another trophy again this season

It seems that today I will only choose this one match but I haven't placed a bet yet.

I think their current strenght will play a better role in determining who wins the match much more than whatever history exist between the two clubs. Inter Milan is definitely in their best form  this season, the last time we saw such strenght was the time of Jose Mourinho as coach and Samuel Eto as a striker. If this holds, then AC Milan is in for a big surprise because Inter Milan will not make the mistake of Juventus that made AC Milan to come back from one goal deficit in first half to winning the match. The odds are actually too underestimating Milan for me but it does make sense because after all, seeing from what is happening now, it is quite reasonable for the bookmakers to give odds like this in this final.

Inter have a much better condition, besides that in terms of performance and h2h Milan are still not too favorite especially they are now in the transition period of the new coach so it will be a fairness if in this match Inter are still favored for the bookmakers.

But on the other hand for now I'm not too brave to bet at 1x2 because Milan can still surprise but I might set aside a little of my money in betting over 1.5 in this match or maybe in betting both clubs can score is still quite feasible to be one of the betting options compared to 1x2.
