It's not just their defeat that makes us think Juventus is currently in a slump, but their overall performance in recent matches clearly shows that the team is not performing well.
There's still a chance for any team to bounce back, but the strength of the squad must also be measured holistically. I don't think Juventus is strong enough this season to win the title.

Juventus being so impatience and they're already sacking Tudor. Just three losses in a row enough to make Tudor lose his job. They have appointed Brambilla as interim manager while considering Spalletti as a top candidate to take the job.
It seems to me Juventus already had candidate to replace him. It's probably the reason he gets sacked even too early. I can't believe we're not even entering November.

Juventus had a clear penalty which wasn't awarded, I will agree with not taking the chances they created also but they're a complete mess whenever you look deep into it. Fans have literally cried out for a massive clear out of the old system because that is exactly how people who rebuild do it. Lazio on the other side are not really all that this season but they have managed to stay relevant and also beating the old ladies. This win should be important for them to build something meaningful this season.

You can't attack on penalties!! the team is rubbish and played really badly, it can't do well and will never do well, if the management and the coach don't change these teams will be totally at their own mercy and will never have the chance to grow

I'm pained about this I had hopes for them this season but they have failed to win their last five games which has led to them losing a lot of points...even though i wasn't expecting the match to be easy for them in thought they would at least do their best to score a goal because they have failed to do so in their previous games...its too late for them to catch up with Inter, its obvious that they lack consistency

Easy matches don't always turn out to be easy in Italy, the league is really complex and difficult to play, all the teams can put a spoke in your wheels in your plans, see for example how much damage teams like Lazio and Como can do.. also Fiorentina and Parma for example

Well, it's like déjà vu. This team seems to be repeating the same mistakes every season. I was hoping Juventus would be a little different this season and could be superior to other teams. However, if things continue like this, the real problem lies in this, as changing coaches doesn't seem to change this habit. Therefore, this club needs to start examining further what's happening to this team, why they keep repeating the same thing every season. They always start very well, then decline towards the middle of the season, and then start improving again from the middle towards the end. This cycle is familiar to those of us who watch Serie A every season.  

Yes exactly, they always seem to make the same mistakes, it's clear that this is an alienating fact for the fans who can't go back to cheering for a team that today seems so weak, in the championship they can't manage to win a match, they are very inconsistent and don't bring home the result

Juventus sack manager Igor Tudor after miserable eight-game winless run

Juventus have sacked their head coach, Igor Tudor, after failing to win their last eight matches in all competitions, the Serie A club said on Monday.

“Juventus FC announces that it has today relieved Igor Tudor of his duties as coach of the men’s first team, along with his staff,” the Italian club said in a statement, a day after their 1-0 defeat to Lazio. Massimo Brambilla, head coach of the reserve team, will temporarily take over as the first team manager, the club added.

Tudor, who replaced Thiago Motta in March, was the first foreign manager appointed by Juventus since Didier Deschamps in 2006-07. The former centre-back spent nearly a decade of his playing career at Juventus, during which they won Serie A twice and reached the final of the Champions League.

Tudor guided Juventus to a fourth-place finish in Serie A last season and secured qualification for the Champions League. But the club’s form took a downturn last month after winning their first three league games. Juve drew five successive matches in all competitions before slumping to three losses in a week to Como, Real Madrid and Lazio.

“I think we prepared for the match in the right way, but we’re still missing something,” Tudor said after Sunday’s loss at Lazio. “There’s no need to dramatise the situation, we’re all responsible for this difficult period.”

Honestly, I'm not surprised by this decision. After five draws and three defeats in a row, it was an expected move, and I think it should have been made even earlier. But I'm not sure that a coaching change alone can change anything, they need to strengthen the team, their midfield and attack have been demanding this for a long time. But Juventus is in no rush to spend money on new transfers, I can see that their priority is not to overspend, and this is reflected in their results. This season everything will again come down to the fight for a top-four finish, and it even seems like they'll have to work hard to compete with Como and Bologna for that spot.

With KDB out injured it will have it's effect on Napoli that's for sure, unless they have a perfect replacement for him already and so far it is not yet clear how long his injury will last. You saw the reaction on Antonio Conte's face when Kevin was injured in the match, it shows how disappointed he was because he knows how badly his absence will affect his team.

KDB being fit is my only scare for Napoli if not they are at the top of my list to win the scudetto as well. Although the all teams in the top 4 look serious but the two teams that will fight till the end are Napoli and Inter Milan just as it was last season.

We have seen them win the title without KDB and yet they are seeing how they could see this and we should realize if they won the title without him, they can win a few more games when he is out too.

This should be a trouble for the time being because they needed a playmaker and that is why they hired him, but they ended up with not getting the desired impact. Dude is old enough and his body is not doing him any help neither, so he is failing to run as fast as he desires, which creates major issues defensively, while his ability and skills helps them offensively. It means they are going to be worse offensively with him out, but they should be able to get a lot better defensively with someone else instead.

Earlier this season when they started off really well, most persons for the moment applauded them so well but forgot to travel memory lane to see how messy this team can be. I took a pause to stare clear the positions of the vast majority to visit some track record and again their inconsistent for the past three seasons was just too glaring, so when I see Juventus performing in this manner, I just do not get surprised anymore as it feels like them meet up some poor expectations, I just hope one day, they get all of this resolved and be better at what they do.

Of the four teams, the one that caught my attention the most was AS Roma, who appear quite serious about challenging for the Scudetto this season. It's been a long time since AS Roma has performed consistently and competed closely at the top of the table. I think Gasperini has succeeded in replacing Claudio Ranieri very well.

Roma is playing quite well. But the problem is that their  attack is weak. They do not have the ability to score much. If they want to fight for the title , they need  a strong defense as well as a strong attack. If roma coach can improve the performance of his attack, then this team can continue to fight for the title until the end of the season. Roma's  performance is stable, their only problem is their weak  attack. It is difficult  for them to do well in the long run.

AC Milan has shown a resurgence, and perhaps this season they will secure a Champions League spot. Meanwhile, Inter Milan appears to have suffered a slight setback, but with a narrow points gap, they can easily return to the top of the table. Napoli, in my opinion, is still the main favorite to win the Scudetto this season.

I expected Milan to fight for the title. They have played well in several matches. But they have fallen behind a bit due to losing points in the last match. But , AC Milan's performance is not weak. I have no doubt that they will be able to qualify for the Champions League. Anyway, if Milan can maintain their performance, then the team will fight for the title until the end of the season.

This just shows how Ronaldo and some of the players like dybala and Paul Pogba were important in that team although it's been long all these name left the club but till date Juventus haven't been their selves and they continue to be having so many trouble in both attack, defence and even the midfield I mean they can't just literally find the clicking match that would ignite the fire once more in that team.

Juventus have sacked their coach Igor Tudor. And the decision is not wrong. Juventus failed to win in 8 consecutive matches. Tudor could not improve Juventus' performance. Rather, we have seen unstbale and bad performances from Juventus.

Juventus played 25 matches after Tudor took over. Out of this the team has won only 10 matches. This might be a good result for a mediocre team. But one of the most renowned teams in Serie A is Juventus. They want to win the title. With such a bad performance, it is not possible for the team to secure the top 4 in the table.

Waiting to see who is the future manager of Juventus. Juve management should definitely look for an experienced coach. Appointing an inexperienced coach will not get a good performance from this team.

Among the top 4 teams in the Serie A table, Napoli and Roma managed to win their 8th match. Inter Milan lost against Napoli and AC Milan dropped points against Pisa.

Inter Milan and AC Milan had a chance to grab the top spot in the points table. I guessed that AC Milan would not miss the chance. If they could win against Pisa, AC Milan would be at the top of the points table now. This was a completely unexpected result. Milan dropped points in their home match.

Roma and Napoli are now on equal points. Roma's performance surprises me a lot. This team is not strong. Still, they managed to get the most points. The interesting thing is that Roma managed to score only 8 goals in 8 matches.

Napoli and AS Roma are leading Serie A but their positions are not solid and secure as they have very little points more than below clubs. One defeat can change their positions in Serie A a lot and with a crisis of Liverpool, we have a good example that things can change very quickly in football. Both Napoli and Roma deserved with their top positions but they must work very hard, perform very carefully in next match days in order to secure their positions.

Inter Milan and AC Milan are not too far behind Napoli and Roma, and they are really ready to take over these top positions in coming weeks. Surely all competitors for Scudetto have their own problems and after only 8 match days, it's hard to say or predict which club will win Scudettto.

Napoli and AS Roma are leading the Italian league this new season but these teams may not be secure in this position,Because it is already clear that one of the notable players of the Napoli team is Kevin De Bruyne, The Belgian player has already been announced injured by the Italian club, so apparently it seems to me that this is a big blow for the Italian champions. Juventus start to the season had amazed me with their slick performances, but I slowly realized that it was only a matter of time before I saw them perform poorly. Juventus are in desperate need of a complete overhaul. Of course Tudor is the first person to blame and this will be a wake-up call for him, better to resign immediately than to force what he can't fix within the Juventus squad.

In this match, Juventus dominated the game and consistently led the attack, but this match proved that victory isn't just about who dominates the game or who attacks the most, but about who is able to capitalize on every opportunity they get and convert them into goals. Lazio took the lead in the 9th minute, giving Juventus plenty of time to equalize, but they failed to do so.

I even think Juventus management were quite late in sacking Igor Tudor, they shouldn’t have waited until eight winless matches, that’s far too many. According to reports from Fabrizio Romano, Luciano Spalletti and Raffaele Palladino are the leading candidates to become Juventus’ next manager. However, I also think that Mancini would be a good option to consider. What’s clear is that Massimo Brambilla, who has been appointed as the interim manager, must work hard to ensure that Juventus don’t suffer an even worse decline.
