The only thing that hasn't changed is that Munich could not win against Mönchengladbach. Man of the match is definitely Yann Sommer. He probably hasn't saved that many balls in his career. It was a top performance. The course of the match would have been very different without Sommer. He said stop to Munich's brutal football. Too much work for the lone goalkeeper points to the lack of some things in the team. They were almost non existent on the defensive side. Sommer was a giant one man squad. It stunned the match.

Sometimes it is the game of a keeper. Last year Real Madrid won the UCL, but during the finals Liverpool did not played badly, it is just that thibaut courtois had one of the best goalkeeping performances I have ever seen in a long time and that is how Real won, not because liverpool played badly. Same happened here basically but in a smaller scale during a regular season.

Bayern did not play badly, and gladbach wasn't that great, it was just that goalkeeper played the game of his life to bring a win, sure he probably wished it was for something more meaningful than just getting 1 points from Bayern, but that is the very biggest he could do with how gladbach is right now.

Bayern were held to a  draw last weekend  despite the strong squad they have.Gladbach showed them that they are very ready for the season,and did not allow Bayern  get what they really wanted.
Liverpool have added few signings to their squad this season and maybe they still want to add more before the transfer window ends.But to me,the only signing they made that I love so much is Mane of Liverpool,he seems like the perfect replacement to Lewandowski.

This is the perfect match to test union Berlin's resilience this season. They have come back to get many points, everybody thought awoniyi's departure will have a great impact on them but new signing Sebatchure has filled that role well. If they get a point against Bayern Munich then they might be the joker of the season

In this case maybe they should pay attention to the midfield and defense and have to reflect on the strategy carried out by Gladbach yesterday, because it is quite clear that if they play openly they will not get a chance to win but they can still get a draw.
Defending is not an act of cowardice but indeed it is one strategy that is quite good against Bayern who always attack with full strength.

What he probably meant is Union Berlin is one of the most fit teams in the German league to face Bayern. I think if they get 1 point, it will be a success. Bayern looks very strong right now. They score a lot of goals even though Lewandowski is gone. Mane makes a great contribution to the team. Still, if they're going to lose points in a few games this year, this could be one of them.
Union Berlin has improved every year since their promotion to the Bundesliga and is now one of the best teams in the league. Hats off to this achievement.

Union Berlin has the same points as Munich. This is a good performance from Union. they only lost a few goals to Munich which is very productive indeed in every game.
but it looks like Union is no less productive. scoring 11 goals in 4 games is a good performance. the match against Schalke 04 is proof that Union has now become very strong. they made 6 goals from the 12 shots they made. even only 7 hit the target. Union implements very effective football.

can't wait to see how Union will face Munich. would be interesting to bet.

Despite the fact that Union Berlin has the same points as Bayern Munich, I don't believe they can compete with Bayern Munich in terms of quality.

There is no doubt that they are at the top of the table and they also have the same points as Bayern Munich, however that does not mean that they will be able to beat Bayern Munich in a head-to-head match. And obviously, the draws and losses that Bayern Munich is going to face and also facing right now are not going to make that much of a difference because they are eventually going to win the league title. I would go for Munich in this match.

Union Berlin have started the same as Bayern Munich by collecting 10 points. Their last game must have improved their morale a lot as they demolished Schalke 6-1. By the way Schalke might relegate again considering their very poor start but the season is still long of course. Bayern Munich crushed them 5-2 here last season. Bayern Munich have a very impressive performance lately. The result against Gladbach shouldn't be misleading because their effort there was really high too. I think they will make up for that result by beating Union Berlin.

Bayern is the most terrible opponent that no team in Germany want to face with. They are simply the Beast in Germany and it is super hard for clubs in the country beat Bayern.

Not only Union Berlin but other clubs mostly are unable to beat Bayern and consequently they don't wish to have matches with Bayern.

Yup! even though Monchengladbach has put a hard time on Bayern Munich they surely don't make a win instead, they just draw the game, Gladbach's defense might be impressive but Bayern Munich also has a great defense aswell, the only problem with Gladbach is their offense is lacking, and for Union Berlin, I really don't know if they can be a big threat for Bayern Munich, just because they made 6 goals on Schalke doesn't mean they are a better threat to Bayern Munich, Schalke might have improved but as a regulated team they still don't stand a chance against Union Berlin, or Hertha aswell,

Well, Bayern Munich should be a great test for Union Berlin but Union Berlin is a great test for Bayern Munich is not really a good comparison, but I am still looking forward for these two teams to face each other that is for sure, just to test what you guys and what I think, but a possibility is always welcome, and like I am always saying we are still in the 4th matchday so we are still in the early season,

I think that this result can be regarded as a random fluctuation and not a regularity - it is obvious that not every game the opponent's goalkeeper will set the Bundesliga record for the number of saves. In the end, even now Bayern are comfortably in the lead (it is unlikely that anyone perceives Union Berlin as a real contender for the title) and with each round this advantage will increase.

Yes, they had their twenty shots on goal. Now the thing is this was knows, Gladbach was almost rough to play against. It will be much more interesting to see how Bayern is going to play against the hard opponents. This is just what was to be expected.

Yes but Gladbach was known exactly for that. They have been delivering a fight for years now and what sets them apart against Bayern is the fact that they need one chance and score. That is when Bayern gets under pressure.

The game between bayern and gladbach was a really entertaining one despite being dominated by bayern the score in the end was a draw bayern team started the game really good unlucky for them their goal was canceled after a var review and the next thing they were behind on the score sheet, they applied a really huge pressure especially on the second half with 15 shot on goal that half was really crazy if they had lost it would've been an unfair result.

Bayern Munich didn't really performed well in this match, because many people believe that Gladbach cannot stop Bayern Munich not to achieve many goals from the match but the match later ended up draw, which Bayern Munich fans was not happy about the goal they cancelled from their players. Gladbach goalkeeper really saved their team in this match not to allow their team to experience defeat from Bayern Munich despite all the shot made by Bayern Munich strikers was catch by their goalkeeper. Gladbach are a bogey team for Bayern they always seem to do well against Bayern Munchen.
And the facts are 6 wins for Bayern, 4 draws and 8 wins for Gladbach since the start of the 2014/15 season. It's even more impressive when you consider that during that period of time Bayern ended up winning the league title every year.

Yes at least Bayern had the drawn result and fortunately, they are in first standing. But the point is the same with Union Berlin. The result again will depend on how the next performances of each club. I am sure that Bayern still becomes the most favorite club to win Bundesliga. But in the last match, they really did an unlucky thing and they must learn much from the previous matches. So, the drawn result will not give any negative impact to their next performance.

Haaland's departure has affected them too but I still see big weaknesses in their defense. The Bremen game is a good summary for this. Taking this into account they still have a long way to go to be able to fight for the title until the end of the season. They can't do anything against this much powerful Bayern Munich at the moment. They might even lose the second spot to another team if they don't become consistent.

Dortmund dont playing well even when they have won the last game , i also guess that its not only the departure of Haaland why they are struggling.
There was a few injured from new players and they got not that much time to find together before the season started.
Hopefully they get back to the good performance when the Champions League is starting , as they need it there.

If you see the head to head statistics Monchengladbach managed to make life hard for Bayern a couple of times.

The thing is that they use their chances when they have them even if it is just a single one. That is also the difference compared to Frankfurt during the first game. Frankfurt also had chances but didn't score. Now in this game it exactly happened the way when Bayern is not lucky one time. They just couldn't score and Sommer got better and better over time. This the way these games can turn out on a bad day for Bayern!

Bayern Munich played very aggressive, they managed to have 70% possession and managed to make 20 shots on goal, but the last bastion of Monchengladbach was very strong, goalkeeper Yann Sommer was able to make 19 saves and now he also managed to break the record for most saves in the German league and managed to beat saves made by goalkeeper Alexander Schwolow, although Bayern Munich were held to a draw by Monchengladbach but Bayern remained firmly at the top of the standings, while Monchengladbach were still stuck in 6th place in the standings with two wins and two draws.
