The players are now more enthusiastic under their new coach. This is what I felt when they beat Frankfurt, so they're still trustworthy in today's UCL against Copenhagen. The bookmakers' odds are also very tempting, so why not give it a try? Honestly, Leverkusen is much better on paper, and playing away isn't a big deal for us.

I might not place a bet on Leverkusen just yet, at least for a few upcoming matches. Although in terms of player quality, Leverkusen is still good, the role of the coach is also important. It's not that I doubt the current coach, but for me, it might be better to observe how the performance of their new coach goes for a few matches first. They had a good result in the previous match, hopefully, it will continue with positive results.

After watching Bayer Leverkusen win in their last league game it's obvious the coming of the new manager brought a lot of changes in the team but that being said, it's important to observe the performance of the team for sometime before having the much confidence on them to win but from what the coach is doing so far I think he's has got good plans for the team and hopefully it ends well for him.

There is a crisis right now for great coaches all over the world because we got used to the same top 10 coaches in the last decade that we kinda forget that they are getting older and older and they won't reach great performances anymore and the problem is that only a few young coaches had the chance to actually coach a big team from Europe. That's why , it's super hard right now for top teams to actually find a very experienced young coach to hire and that's why Leverkusen are facing coach issues right now ...because they have so many limited option to hire as coach .

Because any team that gets any decent coach, they try to keep them as long as possible, and if anyone ever leaves, they find a job even before they leave the team. Like Ancelotti, dude already was Brazil manager before he even left Real Madrid. So it's clear that what we have right now is teams having trouble finding good managers, specially in the middle of the season when games already started, because all the good ones are doing good at their own teams, so it's not really the same thing right now.

This is clearly an issue for teams who had to fire their managers, like Leverkusen, and like Inter, who ended up getting subpar managers because good ones were at some other team. So I have no idea what's going to happen.

I feel like Bundesliga peak performance has passed and we are no in a era of build and grow for them, Bayer Munich still good as always but is not longer a unbeateable team plus the other "bigs" are not doing well, Dortmund is super irregular, Leipzig is weak in this last two seasons.

The Bundesliga has become quite alike to the Ligue 1 in terms of that. In the French league, you know PSG are fully dominating. We rarely see a different champion which is quite normal considering the huge gap among the teams...

The same is valid for the Bundesliga thanks to Bayern Munich.    Leverkusen surprised us a lot in one season with Xabi Alonso magic. But that was all. Again, Bayern Munich is the king around here.

It's all because of the club's financial situation which makes other teams unable to compete with Munich. Just look at Dortmund when they're in good form they sell their players due to financial needs. Dortmund players are often sold to Munich. It's no wonder they've continued to dominate the Bundesliga for years. Two seasons ago Leverkusen caused a major upset under Xabi Alanso by winning the Bundesliga trophy undefeated. However Xabi left Leverkusen, and several key Leverkusen players also left.

When a team is financially unstable, they have no choice but to sell star players to maintain their financial health. This season, with Muchen's strength under Kompany, especially after defeating Chelsea in UCL yesterday, this proves that Muchen's squad is stronger than last season. So with Dortmund and Leverkusen current form not yet fully stable it's certain that Munich will win the Bundesliga again this season.

Bayer Leverkusen won the league after sacking their manager. Their opponents, Eintracht Frankfurt, were a tough team, but they received two red cards and still held on. They won the match 3-1, which gives Leverkusen hope for the future. I hope Bayer Leverkusen competes with Bayern Munich for the title this year as well. They just made a wrong decision by hiring a coach who was under high criticism but the good thing is they realised the sensitivity of the matter and tried to make it better.

If Leverkusen had not let go of several key players along with Xabi Alonso departure, they might not be experiencing the current decline. Ten Hag cannot be fully blamed, as he only managed two matches. Now under Kasper Hjulmand, Leverkusen performance shows slight improvement, marked by a victory over Eintracht Frankfurt and a draw in the Champions League against Copenhagen. Of course, Leverkusen will need a long time to rise again and become a trophy contender, but what is clear is that expectations for them this season are no higher than last season.

Leverkusen did stayed unbeaten a whole season so it is very possible that a team can stay unbeaten, this season we expect that the Bundesliga turns out really interesting, xabi's absence will not be a reason for the league to be boring, Leverkusen may not perform as before but they are definitely going  to try their best and bring the competition to the league in their best capacity but let us just hope for the best this season.

The new manager has actually been doing well with Bayer Leverkusen but still I am not totally convinced yet because for me the performance is not that of a team that wants to compete for the title, this performance for now is looking like a manager bounce and every player is topping their game to simply impress the manager for, I will most definitely be watching for like 5 more games before I give my verdict on the performance and if I see them winning something.

Many of the fans are just looking for a club to Challenge Bayern Munich for the title but let’s be realistic there is no team currently having that quality to challenge them for that title. Bayer Leverkusen had the opportunity to end Bayern Munich dominance in the Bundesliga but just like Dortmund they ended up selling off their best players this time not to Bayern Munich but to other clubs without proper replacement so no matter the tactical genius of the manager it is usually hard to compete on this grounds

Usually, Bundesliga was used to be between Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund almost every season but Alonso raised the bar, and made it between this three , Bayern Munich  Leverkusen and Borussia Dortmund, but it happens that Xabi Alonso who did revived the team left the team way too early, he should have been there for more years as he has got to understand the league pattern better, Bundesliga will have been more competitive going forward among this three teams,  Only in England that you will see More that 5 teams dragging same position without much of points difference.

Their match today against copenhagen isn't what I expected but like you said their form is currently inconsistent at that moment, at least they were able to get a draw, it would have been terrible if they lost the game totally. Bayern Munich boasts a very solid squad. Furthermore, in this match, Chelsea made a fatal error by allowing Chalobah to concede a goal in the 20th minute, which certainly made for a poor start.

Agree... We saw great gameplay from Bayern Munich. Munich management has been able to create a perfect squad. Munich's forward has been able to play well, as well as Munich's defense was also quite strong in this match. Munich does not face any big problems in defeating a big team like Chelsea.

That's Bayern Munich. Even though their possession wasn't much different from Chelsea's, at 56% vs. 44%, Bayern Munich's attack was far more comprehensive, pressing, and lethal. They had 19 shots, especially 5 on target, resulting in 3 goals. In their next two UCL matches, they'll face clubs they should be easier to beat: Paris Saint-Germain and Club Brugge. After that, there's a big match against PSG on matchday 4.

And so far, interestingly, Bayern Munich has always won their first match of the UCL season, a run of 22 consecutive matches. Happy to see Kompany continue this good work.

They did not only lose a good coach but also almost all the players that contributed to their wonderful achievements with xabi Alonso when he was in charge as the coach of Bayer Leverkusen.  They would need to get players that can fill up those gap and also coach to make the whole alignment procedure a whole lot faster which is definitely going to take longer than expected, I believe some clubs even take years to recover from this impact of disability.

While some people feel sorry for Leverkusen's current situation, the team shouldn't dwell on its current situation. They must continue to fight like any other team in the Bundesliga and the Champions League, even though Leverkusen already knows that this season's Bayern Munich are at a different level of strength than last season. Actually under Erik ten Hag, Leverkusen played two matches in domestic league defeating hoffeinhem and another match getting draw from Werder Bremen, its not really bad result in last two games although Leverkusen still not get victory.
However Kasper Hjulmand have better result as Leverkusen manager than Erik ten Hag after winning one match and being draw at Champion League match, waiting few matches later and how progress of Bayern Leverkusen keep consistent at the winning result or return back such as Erik ten Hag era.

Bayern Munich is doing very well at the start of this season. This situation convinces me that they are strong contenders for the championship this season. The early match statistics show that Munich is quite strong. Four matches with perfect results and they have not lost yet. It may be too early, but it seems they will continue to dominate again.

Yes, even if a team is strong, that team can lose any match against any team in the season, but before that we saw Leverkusen finish the season undefeated in a season. That achievement was definitely the best achievement for Leverkusen. Last season, Bayern Munich won the German league title. This season, Bayern Munich has a higher chance of winning the league title because all the other teams in the league except Bayern Munich have not been performing very well recently. Leverkusen was a tough rival to Bayern Munich, but this season they sold their two best players and on the contrary, they lost their team manager. In fact, Leverkusen has a low chance of performing well this season. Although Bayern Munich is a strong team, they can lose any match, but even if they lose, it can be assumed that they will retain the league title this season.
