I have a real good question, when will it be annonouced how many of these coins are going to be sold? Because of my approximation it's already approaching 50million Mark, if they over sell the amount and keep letting it go until the end, that will most likely put a threshold on the long term value possibilities of the coin.

Quite a large number of BTC invested, hopefully this will not turn out like Waves ICO and be massively oversold!
This is no Waves, there is parallel lines between the two projects, I also invested in waves platform but the fundamentals driving Decent is better |

Well, the most coins have been invested within the first 24hrs. I guess it is because of the 50% bonus. This probably means that there are a lot of ICO hunters on board which will dump their coins shortly after Decent hits the first major exchange. Quite a large number of BTC invested, hopefully this will not turn out like Waves ICO and be massively oversold!

It's a difficult situation. The more money raised in the ICO, the lower the token price when it hits exchanges, but the more capital the developers have to develop their product. I invested because I feel there is a growing urgent need for censorship-resistant content distribution (like a YouTube replacement). If the ICO is undersold, hopefully there will be some token trading opportunities at release. However, if it becomes oversold then hopefully the extra capital would enable the developers to push a product out faster, enabling the price to organically rise through user uptake. |

The Waves ICO is a perfect example of an oversold ICO. I'm hoping that doesn't happen with Decent! I think it is very unfair to the Waves team with everybody using them as a bad example, one of the mistake was rushing to list on exchange which I think Decent project learnt from by pushing the project launch to next year and give them time to develop the platform. Another thing is the exchange Waves token was listed on, the team was unable to get their project on a big exchanges that can drive the volume and price up significantly, this I think is the fault of the developers because they let the amount of BTC raised get into their head and assume that it is going to open door for them. I believe the time has come to start putting cap on every ICO in crypto space 10000BTC is enough to kick start any project and make it successful if Satoshi Nakamoto can do this alone and make Bitcoin a $10 billion dollar asset there no excuse for any developer to be asking for more than 10000BTC. |
