Bitcointalk is it possible to separate businesses and gambling discussion?

Hello,

Right now there is one section for gambling and two sub-sections (Games and rounds, and Investor-Based games). We wondered if possible to create a third sub-section and call it gambling discussions. The reason being those of us trying to promote and do business on this section of the forum are being overwhelmed with topics like:

These are just random samples from page one-five of the type of topics that would benefit from a "Gambling Discussion" sub-section of the gambling forum as examples. If it is possible to do this that would be great so businesses are not in competition with random gambling posts.

Wouldn't be a bad idea. There is a lot of crap threads in there among the Gambling sites. Maybe a Gambling Service Announcements sub.

I am not sure about this. It isn't like people talk "business" in each site's thread. From what I have seen, users experiences, wins/losses and similar are discussed in individual sites threads.

Even if the two groups of topics are distinct enough, I don't think there are enough threads to warrant its own section.

Yes, discussion in each site's thread is normal and not an issue. The issue is non-business related topics/discussions in the same section as businesses outside of their threads. I updated my first post to show more examples.

Gambling is a very big business area for Bitcoin. I agree that Gambling subforum needs to be expanded. I'm not so sure about Gambling Discussion though. Maybe we'll get better subforum ideas in this thread.

check the people posting in those uselss shitty threads you've linked. it's account farmers, post hunters and almost 100% paid siganture shills.  

there is no need for a board/section restructuring, just stop the crappy marketing.

Ok. Let's..

I see this idea being thrown every now and then and let's give it a shot. Let's kill all the signature campaigns and let's see if that bring about peace back into this forum. Infact how about we make a rule where you're allowed to be a member of the forum but you're not allowed to post, we'll call it "hail hitler rule". Just scroll through pages and see them read them and then bugger off, you're not allowed to discuss or give your opinions at all. Ow that will bring back complete harmony, will it not?

The other forums are dying of thirst for members and this forum has more than enough and just because some of them are posting crap others should take the toll for it, right?  I don't care, kill 'em all and shoo all the people away, who needs them anyway.

As for other topic, I don't like this new board idea but at the same time I don't mind, let's give casino owners a place where only they are allowed to advertise their sites and no other discussions shall be allowed.

It's not a problem Shitaifan, we won't ever run a signature campaign on this forum due to similar reasons you stated. It does not mean BetterBets is against people posting whatever they like, this request is simply to keep casinos and sites the topic of gambling is the goal.

I support this also. All the random "gambling related" threads felt out of place. It would be really nice to have the sites separated from the "randoms"

Like Bitcoin Discussions? I don't find it necessary as with regards to bitcoins, there are so many doubts that arise but what are the doubts with regards to gamblers? "What gambling site is the best? Where should I start gambling? How much have you gambled?" There aren't too many threads in this regard and having a sub forum as of now isn't needed.
