save it anywhere
for me i saved it as filename in my desktop like this :

all i have to is to click on the icon and press "F2" then CTRL+C for easy access
it is an amazing trick that i use

don't worry if anybody knowed about it, you can share it to recieve payments

but if you talking about identifier you should save it on very secure place (or write it on a paper) and never share it with anyone

You only need to backup your private key.
From your private key you can get your public key (=bitcoin address) when importing it into a wallet, e.g. Bitcoin Core.
But be sure to keep your private key secure.
You can use a paper wallet for example locked into a safe.

yeah, and don't just back up every single private key, because there are hidden private key, it's better to do a back up of the whole wallet, and save it in a usb for a easy use, by doing this you have your address and private key saved

Which wallet did you use it ?

If you use blockchain, you can try find your private key on "import/export" feature and then click "paper wallet option"
Once you click it, there will be a pop-up of your private key for your address

You should tell use which wallet program are you using
yes because every wallet has different features and steps are different too,
as blockchain will have different features to the bitcoin core or other wallets

I use multibit and they make it fairly easy to back up wallets. The private key can be password protected or be just saved as a notepad readable file with the provate key in it if the password is not chosen .

Mostly it depends on what kind of wallet you are using.

It is quite easy to backup your wallet. You can choose to encrypt it with a password of your own but you need to remember it. For Bitcoin Core and most other wallet, don't just backup your main receiving address's private key. In most cases, Bitcoin Core send the remaining amount not used in the transaction to a change address that is not displayed. Bitcoin Core pregenerates 100 address hence, you need to create a new backup every 100 transactions.

Public key and Bitcoin address are two completely different things. Address is a hashed version of public key. Public key is 256bit long while address is 160bit long. For someone to send you payment, you send them your address not public key.

Hello,

Yes you can do bakup.
What wallet using?
Tell me what wallet you  used and I can tell you exact instructions.
Do not install  strange extensions  if you use a web wallet.

Yes, you can back-up your bitcoin wallet as long as you have a private key.
This worth to read: https://en.bitcoin.it/wiki/Securing_your_wallet#Backing_up_your_wallet

save it anywhere
for me i saved it as filename in my desktop like this :
-snip-
all i have to is to click on the icon and press "F2" then CTRL+C for easy access
it is an amazing trick that i use

don't worry if anybody knowed about it, you can share it to recieve payments

but if you talking about identifier you should save it on very secure place (or write it on a paper) and never share it with anyone

I think OP means how to backup the wallet, not save bitcoin wallet address.
