Hello again,

I made a small purchase on localbitcoins in SEK (my currency), I pay 241 USD for one BTC. But if I would make the transaction in USD I would pay 231 USD. Current price of Bitcoin is 221 USD.

It feels like i'm paying too much or is it normal with this kind of overhead? If I want to buy in USD I need to use perfect money and webmoney, services I've never heard of.

Best regards

Yeah buying o localbitcoins is always above average price. But instead of that why don't you use one of the several exchanges you could buy Bitcoin on?

Kraken, bitstamp, cryptsy are a few you can try.

Which one of those do you recommend? I'm a little against sending my ID card picture to buy bitcoins, but it seems most of them require it.

Which these requires the least hassle and lowest price?

It is to easy. You see all the option of bought. You compare which of the prices is the best for you. After knowing this you act. Buy with the best option. No need for advice in this case I think.  Wink

You can buy BTC with either one of these currencies...
However, if you are using Bitstamp ist best to buy with USD, while if you are using the Kraken exchange its better for you to buy BTC with EUR.

Definitely use Kraken. This is one of the rear exchanges where you can buy bitcoins and you don't have to send your IDs and utility bills. But there are some limitations. Check their verification page.

https://support.kraken.com/hc/en-us/articles/201352206-What-are-the-Verification-Tiers-

For example, I am verified for tier 2 and I can buy up to 2,000 euros monthly. All you have to do is provide your name, surname and address, but they will have this nevertheless when you send them a SEPA transfer.

Good luck!
