I think there is no way to send money from any Bank to Bitcoin wallet without ID Verification. You must use any exchange as middleman to do this.

Exchanges require several ID docs too depending on the amount being transacted.

There are few exchanges to trade and transfer little amounts without verification.  Bu for bigger amounts, we need to submit documentation.

Yes, you can deposit cash directly at a bank and get your BTC, just use this service:

Our family was terrorized by Homeland Security.  Read all about it here:  http://www.jmwagner.com/ and http://www.burtw.com/  Any donations to help us recover from the $300,000 in legal fees and forced donations to the Federal Asset Forfeiture slush fund are greatly appreciated!

It's one of the reasons why I also avoid using exchanges.... If you use them and you wanna withdraw fiat to your bank account, you have to give up your whole pedigree.

All the information you give to them are in digital format, and it's easy for people to use that same information to register on other sites and hijack

your personal info for that purpose. These AML/KYC regulations they have to adhere to is just bonkers.  Shocked

I totally agree with you that it's 100% overkill.  Angry

So let's say you have 10 Bitcoins and it goes to 10K bitcoin each. You would surely be tempted to sell a bit at that point just in case there is a correction. Let's say you go 50/50.
How do you convert your 5 Bitcoins (and that's 50K USD EUR or whatever fiat you have)?
The only way is a exchange, who else would have enough liquidity?
This also means you will need to get that money taxed, so you'll be making less than 50K.

I like how you trust bank with your full credentials and you don't trust sending it over internet? Do you think there is huge difference there?
Of course I am talking about reputable services here, and not telling some random people your address etc. Bank can sell your ID to advertising companies anytime.

Just do a local exchange. Face to face is pretty easy in most populated areas.

Solo mining is alive and profitable!

This isn't fully safe anymore as well. I've read about some undercovers going as localbitcoin sellers. I guess this is a risk only in USA but I would beware about it. Also doesn't localbitcoin spy conversations between traders? its a centralized website at the end of the day, its not direct person to person trading.

kraken, but if you attach your bank account, they will know inevitably your name, albeit this isn't the same as giving them your personal ID, it's still not a way to mantain 100% privacy

One way to avoid the exchangers could be by buying gold, silver and other valuables and then sell those.

in kraken, i think, i don't have send my ID ... just a phone number with SMS (but, phone line must identify by the same owner).

Level 3 + SEPA Wire OK.

---

Paypal and Credit Card = Virwox only ... but you MUST have a verified Paypal Account to do this (ID required in Paypal).

---

Coinhouse.io do, too, the credit card.

I was talking Face to Face, not localbitcoin.com.

You could also buy stuff at a place that accepts bitcoin then ask for your change in BTC Smiley

I've seen a few localbitcoins.com posts that only require that you deposit to a person's bank account. Where I'm at, you don't need ID to deposit, I assume the same is true for the US. And always be sure to ask for escrow, LocalBitcoins.com has one available for their trades.
