I have been asked to do an interview for a TV station in Denver.

As part of the segment they would like to show a local Bitcoin mining operation.

It does not have to be huge.  They can get video of huge operations online.  They are looking for a small/medium local miner.

If you are interested in having your mining operation shown on TV and live in the Denver area please contact me.

I do not know if it would involve and interview or not.  I assume you could be shown or not, name shown or not, all up to you.

Even in the event that an attacker gains more than 50% of the network's computational power, only transactions sent by the attacker could be reversed or double-spent. The network would not be destroyed.

Hey BurtW,

I hope you get some good response - maybe you have already. If you don't get much response from the Forum here you could try searching Craigslist for people selling mining rigs in the Denver or Summit or Eagle County areas. Just a thought on how you can find someone.

Good luck...would you mind posting a link to the interview here when/if it every happens?

From my knowledge, all the large mines in Colorado shut down, your electricity prices were low enough to mine in 2014, but are no longer competitive enough with the industry. Bitcoin mining is now primarily in China, the Republic of Georgia, Washington, Oregon, Canada, Iceland and Sweden. I hope that helps.

MinerSource had a farm in Colorado, but they went into receivership I believe.

It does not need to be one of those mega-mines.

They would be happy with a hobby miner with a few units in his garage or something like that.

Do you need a male or a female?

Since 99.999% of all hobby Bitcoin miners are male I assumed a male but a female miner would do just as well.
