As I said on my last thread regarding Darkwallet , the project seems like bit dead for what comes to the funding and it's been couple of years now since the project started but never finished developpement or funding . (I'am not related on anyway to this project)

What is this thread about ?

So I'am making this thread hopefully we (Bitcoin community) could make a change and bring this awesome wallet to public . and if us as Bitcoin users won't help on this , then who will ?

What is Darkwallet ?

Darkwallet is a community of projects developing a wallet with privacy, scalability and integrity. We see Bitcoin fundamentally as a new tool of business and trade in the free economy, more than a mere payments innovation.

The Darkwallet is our first step into a series of products that will touch upon tools for markets, governance and organisation. These are tools we need for our own communities, where we aim to create self-managed spaces.

More informations about Darkwallet :

So what will you spend the money on?

  • Servers 2000 EUR (5.5 BTC)
  • Developers for 6 months 11000 EUR (30 BTC)
  • Design 2400 EUR (5.2 BTC)
  • Darkwallet development hacklab 4000 EUR (11 BTC)
  • Amir budget 1600 EUR (4.4 BTC)
  • Lab infrastructure & facilities 4000 EUR (10 BTC)
  • Buffer 8000 EUR (20 BTC)

And now .. the most important part which is helping the project .

Things you could do to help :

If you support this thread post here , and if you think I've done something wrong then let me know aswell

Unlike traditional banking where clients have only a few account numbers, with Bitcoin people can create an unlimited number of accounts (addresses). This can be used to easily track payments, and it improves anonymity.

AFAIK the project is abandoned. First step I think needs to be convincing someone to be willing to work on it...
