yay, rubycoin. this was one of the first coins i mined. had thousands of them at one time. i wish i was more patient. if i had kept all the different coins i mined i would be able to give up working now.
As 99.9% of time in crypto. You have to be patient enough in order to get anything valuable out of that. RBY is no different. Long, long waiting and then she goes.

Quick question on staking Ruby. Is it better to combine the coins into one big block using the coin control features?

Hello,
I've tried transferring my RubyCoin from one computer to another via the wallets. On the other computer (this one) it's getting stuck on an abandoned block, I've tried redownloading it. The trade shows as going through on the other computer, but this one isn't updating so that it can receive the transaction. Help please?

Anyone have any idea if Tradder Daddy is down for good? I still have faith in this coin but wish there was some official update. All the best and hope everything is fine with the dev.

I think info about the working nodes could help addnode=45.32.239.220:5937 addnode=104.238.136.238:5937 addnode=72.133.192.154:5937 addnode=1.34.180.245:5937 addnode=104.237.2.192:5937 put them into rubycoin.conf file

Hello, I might be wrong, but I'm afraid those coins are gone forever, as they swapped to the "new RBY" around end of 2014... Maybe someone else can confirm.... Regards!! WhitesoxCrypto

WhitesoxCrypto Yes, according to the old Rubycoin thread there was a swap of the old PoW coins v1.0 to v2.0 @degenorate - to make any use of the coins you should have them in the wallet v2.00 at least

Forcing the wallets to rescan should bring them up to date. Rescan what? How would I do this?

Would I copy and save it as rubycoin.conf, or create a new file, if so, how do I do that?

Forcing the wallets to rescan should bring them up to date. Rescan what? How would I do this? - Navigate to the data folder Windows: Start > Run > %AppData% > Rubycoin_v2 OSX: ~/Library/Application Support/Rubycoin_v2 Linux: ~/.rubycoin_v2 - Create rubycoin.conf (if using Windows, make sure it's not hiding the extension) - Add "rescan=1" and save - Start wallet - If it worked, remove rubycoin.conf to prevent rescanning each time the wallet starts. How would I create the new file, I'm a dummy, need to be walked through this. And kinda need to sell this Ruby soon.

How is everyone doing? Looks like Ruby coin value is holding nicely amongst the ups and downs in the market. Now just to see Tradder daddy back in action. Markets are down, best time to accumulate.

I really agree with your opinion, If you want to buy now is the right time, because I'm sure once this coin will rise and the price will soar
