How to motivate women to use Bitcoin?

how we could motivate women to use Bitcoin because I tried several times to explain what it is and how to use Bitcoin ...was very difficult and have not really managed only once ..

 i am a woman using bitcoin. but i admit almost all using bitcoin is a guy. but NOT all. if you want to motivate them you should show results to them. explain to them and help how it works... i think man can persuade a woman in any ways. it depends on the guy..

I told my wife to go to Barneys and buy something with Bitcoin.  She asked them if the take Bitcoin when trying to buy some nice boots.  They said: 'what the fuck lady?!' "Are you crazy?!" "Get the fuck out of here" - and then they called security.

It's not only women but also men are reluctant to invest in bitcoins. I've known few who think it's not worth their time and they can't convert bitcoins to fiat and pay their bills. Some are worried about the legality of using bitcoins but those who are really interested in cryptocurrencies and want to give it a try can be explained the minute details of holding a bitcoin and it's market value can make them think about investing in it. In my country, 1 BTC = INR 15000 which is a big sum and hence it's beneficial to own bitcoins and trade in it.

Most people that are into Bitcoin are still geeks. So don't expect girls to use Bitcoin because most girls don't care about geeky shit. Only when it's easy as hell to use it and widespread you'll see females using it. Also as long as people don't get paid in BTC it will remain a niche for certain uses because people is not going to be buying Bitcoin to then buy stuff they can buy directly with fiat.

Yeah, that's why until Bitcoin isn't really stable, I don't see the simple minded people getting their head around it. The bigger use cases of Bitcoin will come from unbanked people and entrepreneurs, on social media advertisement payments which is a billion dollar industry could be disrupted a lot by Bitcoin. But everyday usage of Bitcoin on the street etc, I think it would require it going really trendy and mainstream plus other events like end of physical currency and people catching up with the fiat scam.

Probably we need some kinds of bitcoin startups, whose branches are located at all corners around the world like banks. So women can always consult with them and learn the knowledge of bitcoin. Actually bitcoin is not comlicated just coz the women are lazy to learn new things IMO.

may be if you seriously to invim your Girlfriend/wife
you can give Bit-X debit card

 It's a ridiculous idea because they wont learn anything about Bitcoin.  It will only result in you having to top it up for them with more Bitcoin.

If you talk about mining, technology, ASIC, .. they'll surely get bored.

You have 2 chances:
* start with... colored coins!      joking, there is only one chance:
* give them a good amount - at least 5 BTC and tell it's real money with real value. And show how it can be spent. Now they have your attention and you can give some technical from time to time, but not too much.

So if you want to motivate women, treat them as equals.  But they still won't learn, because there will be 12 other men in line behind you to do whatever she wants.

Well I remember reading somewhere, that us men don't help women at all in this space, moreover that we directly sabotage their presence at Bitcoin conferences, etc.. That we make fun of them and that we are stereotyping their presence at these conferences, how they should cook, clean, stay at home, etc..

Now I don't know if this is true or if someone can confirm this, but if it is true then you pretty much get an answer where to start there.

It is the same. Women or men is the same. Who want use it. Who have interest interested about it. That's all.
