For it to get into general use it surely needs women to be using it as well. It's like a male-only currency at the moment. we can see majority of Bitcoin users to be indeed male. Women simply haven't heard much about it. And if they have, are still less likely to participate because of the risks involved and/or don't see the point.

For me it is going to depend on how you are going to explain and introduce bitcoin to them. Just let them use your bitcoin at all for sure they are going to get interested and excited on how to use bitcoin. That's a good way to motivate bitcoin easily, let them buy their needs and it is going to be a good strategy.

well, womens like to use to do Shopping and going out so much. but I don't think bitcoin have this feature to give women a good feeling while shopping. she can shop through online but women love to shop really. women love to go to market and choose things by them selves.
that's why women are less in bitcoin.

I've been married four times and still don't know what women want other than to spend money like water. My current wife just brought home a bag from sephora that you couldn't fit two loaves of bread in and spent $800 ($172 for some eye powder wtf!) You don't get understanding of women from long term relationships. You just get bills and lose your house and one car when they leave.

Here's something I'm learning about men.  I'm quoting your post only because it's an example @QuestionAuthority, this isn't aimed at you personally.  But men in general all complain about women spending their money, it seems to be an unwritten social convention, expected behaviour for you all to complain about women spending your money.  Yet you all love it really    Men seem to feel more manly that they can provide for their woman's luxuries or some similar old fashioned claptrap and complaining is really a way of bragging about it to everybody else.  It's the modern-day equivalent of thumping your chest and letting the world know you're an alpha male.

I see the ritual clearly as a woman who has no interest in spending any money but my own.  My "what's mine is mine and what's yours is yours" philosophy makes men uncomfortable even though to hear them complain about other women you'd think they'd be thrilled with a woman who only buys shoes when the shoes she's wearing actually break

Not all. Some ladies are not into collecting too much dress and other cosmetics that could enhance their beauty, and they are the most beautiful to me... But anyway, back to the topic, in my opinion, most of us love foods, and all of us eat, there is no difference between a man and woman when it comes to eating, I think that's one way, let her purchase some sweets if you know a physical shop or online shop that sell it and accept bitcoin.. Let her process it, just guide her til its done.

If you motivate her to use bitcoin when she has no money or really need it, I don’t think it’s a good idea.
Because when woman so desperately want to get money, they will find some jobs that really can give them money fast.

I mean they won’t have enough patient to start all over with bitcoin because when they start at zero, it’s hard for them to earn much at the beginning and maybe they will find working at a restaurant or a hotel would be more interesting.

There are women who show their bodies thru webcam for money. I'm not sure how they get paid, maybe paypal or some sort of ewallet? Suggesting for them to accept BTC and then teaching them how to cash out should bring more women in the community even if they are only in it to get paid.
